The common definition of psychokinesis is the process of moving or otherwise affecting physical objects by the mind only, without making any physical contact.
I have two questions.
Question one:
Is there a branch of psychokinesis that deals with inflicting physical pain or injury on a person using the mind only?
Question two:
Would this forum be a proper place to discuss matters such as this?
Thanks, Mox Nix

Answer one:
Probably. People make up all sorts of "branches" often because it seems cool to them. The thing is, if these powers do exist, then the name of the branch really doesn't matter as it's a form of PK anyways. If I recall correctly "Vitakinesis" is the ability to heal, so I assume it could be reversed.
Answer two:
Sure, but bear in mind that both believers and skeptics visit this area, and there can be some violent clashes between them. If you're willing to defend yourself and/or provide any kind of evidence for psychic abilities, you'll do fine here, but if you're looking for a supportive believer's environment you'll have to look elsewhere.

Answer one:
I would say no, it would be classified by what you did to inflict the pain. For example, picking them up and throwing them against a wall would simply be telekinesis, you see?
Answer two:
I don't see why not.
And sorry to you, angrycrustacean, for stealing your answering format, but it's just so simple and efficent.

terms like hydrokinesis and areokinese are used to stroke the person's ego i believe in some of the psychics here but some i don't, and i herd 12 year old say he was levating which does raise an eye brow and makes you wonder which are true and which are false, if they say like its cool and they can do it with out any problems then their lying usually some say they are psychic to feel special, or different, or even their just to imaginative. some i believe could be speaking the truth but i honestly don't know till i see it my self.

I do small telekinesis, like moving a psiwheel under a glass, rolling small objects, ect.
I don't claim to be a superhero or a mutant.

Psychokinesis/PK. means your using your mind to affect anything matter.
- creates heat, and cold sensations. in documented video it creates fire.
- it heals
- induced pain
- it "moves" - (put any here).
-term telekinesis and psychokinesis have the same meaning.
adding "kinesis" to a word just describes things or objects made of matter that Psychokinesis can do. Mind over matter.
Once you can affect any matter using your thought process, you can certainly affect anything made of matter.

There could be a "branch" because people make up new "powers" and "abilities" here everyday just by adding words to "kineses".

Give me a few examples, please.
