[I] I recently lost three close friends to me. One, an officer, who was killed in a head on collision while on duty, the second was murdered by her step-dad, and then my fiance's dad died the day after her.

I was sitting in my office and all of sudden I started writing this poem. Like I heard my friend who was murdered whispering in my ear. What makes it even scarier is that my hand was doing the writing, but it wasn't my handwriting. IT WAS HER'S.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this.

I practice it quite a bit...Now I keep a handwriting/dreamjournal.

No,...I've never experienced anything like that. Sorry to hear about your losess. But It does seem like people I know often die in 3's. Three within the same week usually.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss...it is devastating to lose so many so quickly. I have seen the pattern of threes as well, in my own family. You should scan the writing, then post it here, maybe with samples of your writing as well as a sample of hers. I have never experienced it, but I have read about it.

First, allow me to express my condolences on your recent loss of loved ones.

Sometimes a living person knows that they're time is ending. As such, we all know that it is important to try and complete facets of life and love with family and friends.

That said, I had a bout in my life where I went through a period of heavy drinking. A childhood friend of mine named David had always been a lonely sort. He had served his country's military, as I had, but he found solice and strength in hanging out at the local Veterans club.

My drinking bout actually caused him to re-establish our old friendship and he sought me out. I also think he saved me. Saving me from a thing called alchoholism. He died from it less than a year later. I oftenb wonder if those little invisable demons that had affected me .. didn't actually attach themselves to him? I went on with my life and family and he became un-interested in maintaining our friendship because our only real social setting left was a barstool together.

Strange huh? I now count my blessings and look back upon that friendship more fondly.

Anyway, were I you... I'd practice, or at least make some time for more automatic writing to take place. Good luck.

I found when I practice it made me sleepy, and I was really upset that I would get sleepy after 5 minutes. It ends up most of class would get tired after 1 minute.
It is fun to do...and just keep writing even if it sounds like jibberish, then go back and read it....you'll be amazed at what comes up.

I really don't understand...how does one get started in automatic writing? Like I've said, I have read about instances, but it never goes into detail on how someone would begint the process.

Just write what comes to your mind, instead of thinking about what to write. Try not to have any orginization or structure. That is all I can really think about to get me writing in a "freestyle" manner. I don't really believe I have any spiritual connection to another soul while doing it, but it is possible.

Totally off topic but when I am writing good it is more like I am writing what is being told to me. Sometimes I swear I hear a voice whispering the word to me. When it gets to going well I even loose focus that I am writing. It's like I come out of a daze and read something that I swear couldn't have come from me.

Maybe this is a form of automatic writing?

Most book on the metaphysical are not set with clear detailed steps....

A good way to start is the way Mentalcase said....and like Mentalcase said some people don't feel it is a spiritual connection, yet those same people in my class got answers also.
I learned it as part of a process too channel, so my directions will combine channeling with the writing.
I will post a thread about it for you Soulfire, I just gots to get the info organized.

ever tried watching TV and holding a pen to paper without looking at it? I did once and it scared me so I wont do it again.

sorry it took so long. At first it started out as a scribbled mess, but then It felt like I was writing something. I looked down and at the end of the scribbled bit were the letters W H and E. I was on my own and stopped.
