Has anyone had any Men In Black sightings? I was reading this book and it was talking about these "Men In Black" and they show up to people who are really into trying to figure out the paranormal. It is said that if you have kids, to keep them away from learning about the paranormal/cryptozoology. The book said that some people think they are "Government Officials trying to keep secrets about the Paranormal, well, secret" and some people think they are Vampires. What do you think?

I've had one sighting and it was very scary! It was standing outside my house by my mailbox looking at me, then there was a huge flash, and it was in my Dad's truck! Then, there was another flash, and it was gone. All this time, my dogs were barking like CRAZY, and they never do that. Then, thinking it was over, closed the shades, and right after that, this shadow walked past. I peeked through the blinds again, and nothing was there. Right after the shadow walked past, my dogs stopped barking. I'm confused about what it could be.

Are you refering to "Men in Black" in terms of Government Agents and people of that nature....or something else?.....and if so, what?

(MIB) The Men In Black is a secret government agency, and believe me they will stay "secret" we only know what they want us to know, if they didnt want us to have the knowledge of their existence we wouldnt, but thats about it, their work is classified of the books, even if we wanted to get info on them, it would only be a small portion, kinda like the whole seeing just the tip of the iceberg saying. We see whats unclassified or leaked by people who have actually had encounters or worked with them or been affiliated in any way. Thats about it, and i recommend another thing dont look to much into them, big brothers always watching, he doesnt like people looking too much into well the dark side of the government.

Look, I'm sorry...but I wouldn't get past #1 on your list before I said something to the effect of*points behind the man in black* "LOOK..AN ALIEN!!!"...if he/she/it dosen't even FLINCH.....I'm outta there.....and I'm not EVEN gonna get into #2 thru #6(must recahrge batteries?..... )

There are also witnesses that claim that these so called MIB's drive in old model cars that look brandnew. Fact is that all we have are some vague witness accounts. I think they are more likely to be just government agents that want to shut up people that have seen strange and unusual things that the government wants to keep secret, but then again we can't be sure...

Classic MIB reports cannot possibly refer to real humans. They are bizarre.

The early accounts truly are bizzare. There was even a case where a young woman was nearly pulled into a car by a passing man in a black suit. The other thing to note is that the cars are not always black. The earliest accounts place the MIB's in a variety of car types, although almost all of the cars are relatively old in comparison to the time they were viewed.

The skin characteristics of the early MIB cases were also clearly defined too. Most of the people seen as MIB's or in the company of them, had a deep olive skin tone with fierce black pupiled eyes. Very spanish in a appearance.

Keel describes them as 'misguided time travellers' because they would turn up wearing clothes that were either out of date, or wasn't yet in style.

Most often in the early cases, they made no sense at all. Their actions were just truly bizzare. There are cases of people returning home from a night out to discover their house had been broken into.....and the intruder was still inside.

The intruder would take nothing of value in the house......he would just get a snapshop of the homeowners and rush quickly out the door. The description of the intruder? Deep olive skin with fierce black pupiled eyes.

Are these cases limited in geographic scope in any way?

these are cases after large UFO Flaps in the United States....from 1966 to about 1976.
Specific geographical scope is hard to determine.

The case of the girl being almost abducted comes from Point Pleasant (Yes, home of the mothman, it was during the UFO flap of 1966), the others range from New York to San Fransisco.

I think the reason people confuse MIB activity with the government is because both Blue Book and the MIB's were active during these large flaps in the 60's and 70's. It could be the case that two completely different divisions were undertaking investigations. In one MIB case, a man identifying himself as an Air Force Captain was spotted in the area canvassing UFO witnesses. Several days later the Air Force Military Police would arrive at these homes and question the owners about the whereabouts of a man pretending to be an Air Force Captain.

The air force had no idea who this man was, or why there would be others undertaking an investigation. According to Blue Book, the amount of time spent investigating the Point Pleasant flap was practically nil....it seems the government wasn't interested in Mothman in the slightest.

Subsuquently, these homes the man visited would often recieve strange phone calls with no one on the line, except sqeels, dots and dashes.

Why don't I ever get to see any of these things? Couple UFOs, evidence of some weird critters, black aircraft that make no noises and fly very slow, but no MIBs.

Thats what reminded me of the MIB, I was watching a documentry on the Moth Man, and they were talking about all the MIB that invaded the city. The one I saw was very, unhuman. Deep Skin, Dark Eyes, Just standing there, holding a briefcase. There was a flash of light, and he was sitting in my dad's truck. Another flash of light, he appeared to be gone, but then walked straight by my window (the dirrection to the door) and disappeared.

-idk about alot of these ones especially #3, from wat i have heard poeple who "talk" about UFO siteings r visited by them.

Some of characterists of the "classic MIB are:
1. Drive shiny,expensive, black new cars Buicks or Lincolns, sometimes Cadillacs,
2.pale-greyish skin, and that some of them have been seen to have blond hair
3.Unusual insignia have been seen emblazoned on the doors and the license plates are always unidentifiable or untraceable
4. Talk with a dull monotone voice, like a computer
5.dark-complected with high cheekbones, thin lips, pointed chin, and eyes that are mildly slanted
6.Their often mechanical behavior has caused them to be described by some as being like robots or androids
7. Also i heard of a report that after it rained a MIB walked through a field of mud to visit a house and had no trace of mud on him, There are other cases of MIB appearing on the other side of a wet, muddy field after a heavy rain, but having no mud whatever on their brightly shined shoes and in the bitter cold, out of nowhere, wearing only a thin coat. Their shoes and wallets all seem new and hardly broken in.
8.A businessman's family in Wildwood, New Jersey, was visited by an unusually large man whose pants legs hiked up when he sat down, revealing a green wire grafted onto his skin and running up his leg
9. I ave heard they are mostly assiociated with UFO's(where this story should be) and have been know to threaten people and confiscate UFO evidence from people after they have seen a UFO/aliens/or know secrets about agenices(AF,NASA,NSA,etc)

these r for the most part wat i have gathered on these strange siteings of MIB(im not gonna say people or humans cuz its not clear wat they r yet)

I just wanted to also point out, that in a few cases the vehicles they were in was persued, and in one instance I know of they chased the car to a total dead end, but the vehicle vanished. They appear and diaappear just as easily on foot as well.

How did you manage to see their wallets?

Some guy was visited one time by 3 of those Men in Black. One of them ate hairgel and the other one stuck his head in the oven. Enough proof they are not from this earth? I will look for the source, i once got this from Discovery Channel.

HOLY CRAP! i have seen many men in black then if this is true. Just go out in your car on any given sunday and you see these men everywhere. Just last sunday i saw a mid 80s ford cortina in perfect condition being driven by an old man who didnt do anything apart from look directly ahead. How the hell can you keep a cortina in that condition? I have seen many examples of this before, they normally drive well under the speed limit perhaps not to get pulled over by the old bill. Ithink the other explanation is sunday drivers who wash and polish their old cars every other day and take it out on a sunday to do 5 or 6 miles at 23 mph in a 60 zone to piss others off!

Seriously though, how do these old gits manage to keep a mid 80s ford cortina in pristine condition without any rust or scratches and bumps? They are absolute nails and totally rust prone!!

I'm brand new to this website, but im intrigued by a lot of the posts, they are very interesting, espeicaly this one.

I'v heard about the men in black, how they randomly show up if they think you know too much, and they will go to every extreme to make sure that information does not get out, so youve really got to think, How much do you trust the goverment these days? Its far more powerful then it was intended to be.

But when it comes down to it, if the men in black are proven to be real, that means there is something or are many things that the goverment does not want us to know.

Could you give us some more info on this sighting? Like, when it happened, time of day, where (I understand that you want to remain anonymous, but at least country or area?) time of year, etc. I don't want to doubt your sincerity, but have you tried to come up with other explanations? For example (Please don't be offended!): were you under 'the influence' of something; were you very tired; were you distracted by something/someone & might have looked away for a split second? Any idea why they would be interested in you? Your family, etc? Why would it want to sit in your truck?

Haven't heard from Penguin for some time on this subject, and I sincerely doubt that you will.

This isn't what I believe but definitely a possibility, inspired by SJOD's post.

Considering the government controls 99% of the media is it not possible that they create these accounts to strike fear into the public?
Control through fear?
Maybe using these M.I.B myths to deter people from researching into UFO's/Alien lifeforms.

I red something about people being followed by unmarked black helicopters, and stories about the government taking people who know to much, or have evidence of Crptozoolic/Alien things. But I always wonder why they would want to cover something like that up.

This may or may not be considered a sighting. I lived for 13 years out in the countryside almost at the end of a bombing range here in Nevada (no not area 51 Northern nv, home of Top Gun actually). One day my daughter came to see me and said as she was driving up the road, she saw 3 identical black suburbans (sp?) with heavily tinted windows (she couldn't see the driver at all) pulling identical black trailers (u-haul type). They were coming down out of the area I lived in (I lived 7 miles in, but the roads went on for miles back into the hills). It was just odd, as nothing is really out there and the road was a virtually ungraded, rocky vehicle killing stretch of nastiness.

She also said she saw a UFO one morning (this was several years earlier) on the way to the bus stop (at the end of that 7 miles of road, lol). she said it was triangle shaped with a flashing red lit corner (tail?). It was gone before my husband saw it. This was before the stealths became public knowledge, so it could have been one of those flying out of the Navy base here, but the description seems just a bit off. btw the daughter was in junior high I believe at the time, so certainly knew what the jets looked like as they buzzed our house all the time....damn them. lol
