i've been seein this swirly black smoke for about 3-4 months now

i was sleeping one night and i woke up and i was sitting on the bed my arm was up like trying to grab something..and when i looked up at my arm, i saw this swirly smoke going up the ceiling into the attic...i just told myself that i was dreaming and fell bak to sleep

The next night i fell asleep and i woke up, my eyes flew open and it was right infront of my face, i jumped out of bed...the next day, i started to kind worry a bit ((my mom knows i go thru alot of stuff like that so she said she will sleep with me later on that night))

So the night comes and we both fall asleep, her head as at my feet and my feet are at her head...understand? well anyways i was sleeping and i heard myself saying "MOM GET IT AWAY FROM ME" and i can feel myself moving closer and closer to the edge of the bed, i opened my eyes and i was sitting up, and there was the black smoke again, but it was bigger...it was like a size of a golf ball.

A week passes by, ive been sleeping like a baby those days..then again it happens

I heard something fall real loudly, my eyes flew open and it was at the foot of my bed but bigger, a size of a baseball...i was sick n tired of it already i yelled "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?! IF YOUR GOING TO BE SHOWING YOURSELF TO ME TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT!!"

The next day i told my mom, and she said there was nothing she can do.

Like two days passes by i don't have no contact with the black ball. So i think it has gone away for good cuz what i had said...but no it hadn't

I was having this really bad nightmare, it was horrible...my eyes just flew open and i saw the black smoke again but now its the size of a basket ball..i had my eyes on it for about 3-4 seconds and it slowy disappeared.

I was already used to it, it didn't bother me anymore...the next night it was coming thru my door..but i fell bak to sleep, i didn't care

Well ok a month passes by, it left me alone because i prayed and prayed...so it left for awhile

so now it happened to me yesterday ((8-6-06))

i woke up and it was right infront of my face, it look like a spider dangling above me, a size of a golf ball again, i jumped outta bed and ran to the living room..lmao its weird because i had no control over my body, it was like a reaction i guess...i just got some cold water then came bak to bed and fell asleep

do any of you guys know what is going on? i know its going to wake me up again in the middle of the night..or if not that..im going to wake up tonight but not actually wake up..get me? lol read the astral traveling thing

well if any of u have adive pleassssssssse let me know i would appreciate it..im trying to get in contact with a medium, but no luck..if theres any out that i would appreciate you help,,,heck im willing to pay if thats what u people want...thank you

ive seen alotta weird things and im telling you from experience that you need to pray more and try a family prayer, there really is power in prayer, its always worked for me and my family. Try it, it should really help.

Do some research on the house and property where you live... and if that turns up anything questionable, head to your nearest church and see what advice they can give you. Sometimes, just outright asking what whatever it is wants, or even saying firmly "leave me alone!" will work, too. Sleep elsewhere if you can.

Have you ever seen it in waking everyday life or is it always when you are dreaming/waking up?

I'm wondering if its trying to tell you something. I think that during your sleep period is when it feels that it can communicate with you, and maybe it needs to merge with you or something, because I'm sure it would have communicated with you it's urgent message. It's just a thought, but it sounds like it's desperate. I think I have read somewhere that sometimes the near sleep condition is when some from beyond find it possible to communicate with the living.
I though do not suggest letting it merge, I'm just wondering if the need to communicate is what it wants to do. I think continuing to ask what it wants might be the thing to do. Like I said, it's just a thought.

More than likely that is all it is. If it is more though and it gets big enough to start taking on a glittery gold outline, they better find religion real quick like.

Praying is not the only answer to everything. To many people hide behind praying and are to scared to face the truth.

Praying is not hiding. It is a form of directed meditation to connect with additional spirit(s) than one's own, which when facing a hostile spirit is about the best that one can hope for.
Two are usually better than one, but if the one is a total bad ass then more than two is likely needed and non human ones that are older and wiser better yet.

I am all for praying, but not like the dark night77 to god and jesus , because that is not the answer to everything. Pray to your spirit guide or a parted loved one for help and guidance.

Maybe it's none of my business(this question IS pertinent to the subject) but how old are you? The reason I'm asking is beacuse if you are young and going through puberty, this phenomenon your experienceing may be similar to Poltergeist/Psychokinetic episodes that are said to be prevalent in young females going through puberty manifesting itself in this odd "smoke" anomoly...........just a theory.

O.o never heard of that, maybe cuz I'm not a girl. Might also be sleep paralysis. All I can say is that when that stuff happens not to be afraid of it. Fear seems to make those things worse.. Try to enjoy it's presence if you can. Try asking for something to come help you in your head if you can't help but being scared: your god/goddess/a spirit or anything. It usually helps. Whatever it is, don't let it in your head though for sure...

Guys read her other topic in the metaphysics forum. There, she says she's been through astral travel. I think otherwise, because she also mentioned it:
Happening as shes in bed, going to sleep
A prescense in the room
the inability to move
the feeling of pressure on the chest.


It's an open and shut case: she has reoccuring sleep paralysis.

Nope. Sleep paraysis is completely natural. I'm not a sci-en-tist so I'll skip the mumbo-jumbo: in the long run, you're essentially awake when dreaming. This makes you see hallucinations, and yet it feels as if you are completely awake. In it, you are completely paralysed. You cannot move anything but your eyes, and often there is the feeling of an invisible, or out-of-sight, malign presence. I'm pretty sure that most people experience it at least once in their lives. I sure have.

Then again, that only applies to some of your experiences, then. This would not explain the encounter in which you ran from bed int othe kitchen....hmmm...

Pip i think you should really check yourself, and i know for a fact praying to god is not being scared or hiding from the truth, on the contrary its actually confronting the being through a spirit i would say, and yes the strongest spirit in the universe, and that is God, so before you say some stupid sh** about asking spirits for help, just take a second to listen to yourself think, because im saying the same thing your saying, pray to a spirit, not just a higher being, but the highest being and most powerful and holy also, no evil prevails against god, and thats the truth.

Well not exactly, your faith for your God scares it off if it isnt a sp anomily, then even if it is a sp anomily your faith acts as a mental attack against it occuring. So as you say 'no evil prevails against god' because your mind is set to this rule and through this your prayer and/or faith helps

Although this does seem like nothing more than sp dont rule out other opinions, however I advise you try sleeping on your side from now on as an experiment, if in doing this you suddenly don't get these experiences any more it's probably just sp. If not then faith and other alternative practices cannot harm you or your current situation.

If it's true, then you should achieve the same effect with any secular means of making sure "your mind is set to this rule" as with prayer.

I wish I had found this to be the case, because I am inclined to reject religious propositions, at least in their literal meanings. Indeed, I usually say they don't make sense at all and so are not even true or false. But when it comes to prayer, I have noticed, with extreme reluctance, and only having tried it when all else failed, that somehow it achieved results that I could not otherwise achieve. I think the journal literature in several health-related fields backs up my personal experience. I have no clue what an appeal to the Almighty has that any other approach lacks. It flies in the face of everything I'm inclined to believe, but there it is.

Your mileage may vary. If thought and experimentation yield a method that obtains the same results as prayer or better, I'll be first in line, trust me.
