Recently I posted a link to an article dealing with the Antichrist from a Christian organization--one which will go unnamed. The article was factually correct, and as I have often said: I don't care where information comes from, as long as it's factually correct. That said, I just found out that the site from which I obtained said article was that of a hate group. I was caught completely unaware, finding out their agenda, not from their website--which is designed not to draw attention to its disgusting beliefs--but from an email exchange with its founder. The curtain came down quickly as they say.

That said, my sincerest apologies. I pride myself on doing my homework, thoroughly researching everything I post for accuracy. And while, again, this article was factually correct, obtaining it from such a site ... is simply intolerable. Obviously I let my guard down, let myself be duped. That is equally intolerable. No excuses. I'm thoroughly embarrassed. It won't happen again.

I don't think you owe anyone an apology either. You posted in good faith and after the research you could afford to insure the articles integrity. It's not your responsibility that that website obscures it's intention of promoting bigotry and segregation, online. (Actually, it says a lot about their character that they would do so. If they're proud of their platform and the message they impart, why resort to the subterfuge!? (*looks in photo file for a JPG image of black jesus. I wonder if you have their Email Addy still!? It's something I'll save to forward on a Monday. Yes, that's the kind of Email WS should have waiting in their in box, don't ya think!? Muahahaha! What! )

If the information is factual and true, is that truth then tainted by the source? Not just talking about seans W/s source, but any unsavory source.

You make an excellent point J1. I need to rethink my statement regarding where one gets his/her sources. Priority should be given to the credibility of a source first. Go from there. I should have never adopted such an ideology. Would have gotten me fired as a Historical Researcher.

While in no way do I believe an apology is necessary, I think that it is admirable of you Sean to come forward and retract your position on the article in question, because of the credibility or lack thereof of the article/publishing website in question.
