Lets make a interesting thread about dreams and nightmares, this way we'll learn alittle about eachothers mentality and how we think and dream.

It could be about anything, doesnt have to be a nightmare it could be anything.

I'll start one, this one time i had a dream i got shot and died,i could see my body on the floor but it seemed like my spirit was moving up farther away into the sky until i could barely see my body, but the really cool thing was my spirit stoped b4 leaving earth and i wasnt able to go into heaven, and i was really scared in my dream, but then i jus started flying around and flying was really cool, i went past the gw bridge and into the hudson river, and i met my lil bro in my dream and told him it was me and im dead, and he freaked out and said that you should be in heaven or hell and not stuck on earth, he told me to do good for judgement day was coming, i got scared and just went through a wall and flew into the hudson river, it was one of the coolest dreams i had, it really felt like i was flying but the feeling of being stuck on earth for judgement day scared the crap outa me in my dream. I woke up sweating and scared.

Hello all!

I had this dream once where I was flying, but I wasn't dead, it to felt incredably real and it was cool as funk! I had this dream when I was about ten years old and now, fourteen years on, I still remember it quite vividly. I felt really comforted and I was just floating arround at great heights so calmly and peacfuly amongst clouds and a beautiful rising sun, then I would skydive to earth at great speeds always feeling completely in control, it was a fun dream. I haven't had one like it since.
These days I wonder if that dream had any meaning or message behind it, and because I was young I failed to see the significance........maybe?

Anyone else know what I mean?

I've always had dreams where I levitated..never flew..just levitated. those were awesome. as child i really believed i could levitate because the dreams were so really.

I've often had nightmares about the world ending..Once I had a nightmare about the Holocaust..I'll explain more later..half asleep right now.

I recently had this really weird dream where I thought I was dead, and instead of
going to heaven, I was given the option to reincarnate. When I couldn't decide what
to do with my next incarnation, I suddenly woke up feeling really strange.
Like I said, it was a really weird dream.

Ok, I JUST had this dream last night. I dreamed that I was changing clothes, and then I looked at my belly and it looked like my skin was FALLING OFF, like it was first opening and then kind of like falling off, like an old woman's skin. IT FREAKED ME OUT!
Now, I read on a website that dreaming of skin falling off means something good, "getting read of the old things to get new ones", but I don't know what to think about it, it was so scary

My dreams tend to have the same theme. They are either things are falling apart and I have to fix them, I'm having to find someone or something, or I forgot to go to a class for an entire year and I get an F.

One dream really got to me. I thought my kitchen was flooding and I was trying to stop the flow of water. All my attempts did not work. Then suddenly I found myself in bed. I could have sworn it was really happening. I was more freaked out that it was a dream instead of it being real.

I have no idea what these type of themes in my dreams mean, but I usually wake up with not feeling very rested.

Before I used to have scary dreams, generally of my teeth falling out, but then one night during one of these dreams I realized that couldn't happen, and then it came to me, i was dreaming! So I forced myself to wake up. I did it so many times after that one, it's kinda cool when you realize in your dream that you are dreaming and try to wake yourself up. Other times, before I forced myself to wake up, I tried to do some weird stuff, like fly or make someone appear, sometimes I would be able to do it after trying veeery hard.

I can still remember my first ever dream/nightmare which I used to dream of when I was about three years old. It was a recurring one which I would just dream over and over all night and I used to hate it. I used to dream that I was watching a white pearl falling through black space into black water which would ripple after the pearl had fallen into it. Then after the ripples finished another white pearl would fall. It used to be really horrible because each time the pearl would fall I would have to watch it slowly, knowing I couldnt stop it and that there would just be another one to fall soon.

I had a really wierd dream the other day, and it was that my boyfriend came to see me, and we were just like walking around and it seemed so real! So when I woke up, I actually looked to the side (I rarely have dreams like that) and I went back to sleep, realizing it was a dream and thinking 'God, I miss him', because I don't see him often, then I realized I was dreaming, and thinking where I was, because I couldn't remember, then I woke back up and then went back to sleep, and I remember dreaming again, then just thinking random thoughts.. It was wierd..

I also had a dream that I was going up some edge, on one side there was a drop and on the other there was a weired fence, and for some reason it lead up and I kept going up and then I was collecting some like, trinket pieces, and I looked across the fence and saw old abandoned houses and there were grim reaper figures just standing around, so I started like fast walking up the ledge, and I kept seeing these figures and one was shaped like a dog..Then it skipped to some different part of a dream where I saw this girl that I didn't even know (then, now she's my close friend), and I was topless!So we went into her room and like, she just started talking to her and listening to a song that I had fell asleep to, then I asked her for a shirt and she just gave it to me and left so I went outside and saw my friend Marcy..Then i woke up when she was talking to me..=/ I have odd dreams..

I have these terrible, scary dreams, where some dumb idiot really does succeed in bringing the dinasaurs back to life, like in Jurassic Park!! It is so wrong! Sometimes I don't get away. The Raptors are the worst!

Can't remember my entire dreams but I know I am having dreams dealing with crowds and I am trying to make my out. When I wake up I have the sense of being worn out. Also having dreams dealing with the colors red (remembering a bright red umbrella) and green (remember a wick basket sitting on bright green grass). All these are seperate dreams and have been over a period of time. Very interesting topic.
