Ngoui Rung is an unknown hominid sighted in Vietnam. It was seen a lot of times during the Vietnam War by both americans and vietnamese people. There are debates about if they're apes or hominids. Personally, I think they're hominids.

I don't know if there are recent sightings, maybe something bad happened to them during the war?
