I say Pistons and NO sweep. The Pistons just have the Magic overmatched at every single aspect, and Chris Paul is WAY TOO hot for the Spurs, or anyone for that matter, to handle.

Chris Paul is amazing! Does he ever come off the court? grin2.gif

The Cavs lost a close one....my friend is gonna be PO'd, I'm just gonna have to rub it in devil.gif That's gonna be an interesting series yes.gif
~Cheese~
Let's tie it up MAGIC original.gif
timbeau
Just when you start to count SA out, they come right back. Should've seen this coming.

Jameer Nelson apparently guaranteed a Game 5 win in Detroit. Uh, ok Jameer...
nativechick1989
*phew* SA tied up the series @ 2 ... some breathing room.

frogfish
C'mon Pistons! Finish it off today!
nativechick1989
dontgetit.gif OK....starting to get nervous again!

SA/NO game 6.
frogfish
Now you all know why we Detroit fans love Tayshaun...just look at that 7'2" wingspan!

C'mon Cleveland, beat Boston!
timbeau
That was an awesome block.

Off to the Conference Finals. Hopefully this time we can get back to the NBA Finals and win t all.

Now my boys are up 3-2. But SA is really tough at home.

As sick as I am of SA, if they win game 6 at home, then game 7 at NO is definitely in their favor.

I will be out on Bourbon Street tomorrow night JUST IN CASE a miracle happens lol.

Crap, looks like there might be a Game 7. I saw this coming a mile away. hmm.gif

Since the Hornets eliminated Dallas, I'm actually rooting for the Spurs to take this series. Sad, since I practically hate the whole team.

Even before they were playing The Hornets, I never liked The Spurs.

Now they have been the best team in basketball for years now, don't get me wrong.

But to me it is just a boring version of basketball.

Tim Duncon is wooden, Manu flops at the slightest breeze, and Tony cannot go a sentence without referring to his wife.

There is a reason why any finals with The Spurs has been record low ratings, they are BORING!!!

Not meaning any disrespect to Spurs Fans, even though I know I sound harsh.

lol Did you notice that as well?

Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh. I know you are a Spurs fan. I was just mad The Hornets lost and I had a few beers in me. innocent.gif
timbeau
Personally I don't find the Spurs to be boring. Probably because my favorite team is the Eastern Conference version of them.

And how about those Celtics? 0-6 on the road in the playoffs thus far. Yeah, they've been great at home, but I'm not going to sit here and guarantee they'll beat Cleveland. LeBron has shown he can carry his entire team for a game and lead them to victory.
nativechick1989
Now it's getting interesting.....

original.gif Go Lakers!!! original.gif
timbeau
Right now, because I'm such a flip flopper, I have a Lakers-Pistons finals.

I'm convinced that all this rest is going to be great for Detroit. I hope Boston beats Cleveland today, because I am confident we can win against the Celtics now.
nativechick1989
Yay Celtics clap.gif
bogcreeper
Celtics will win ... just due to the fact of their home field advantage.
frogfish
Bring on the Celtics. The Pistons are in all facets the superior team. Just look at how they have played. Plus, the rest is GREAT for Chauncey and Co.

We have the better scorers, and the better bench. Plus, we have one of the few people in the league that can guard KG...Rasheed! Chauncey will dominate puny Rondo all day long.

Pistons in 6.
I see Hornets winning game 7, and beating the Lakers in 7.

Pistons-Hornets final.

Celtics fans better hope they can defend that home court, because Detroit is more than capable of going in and winning a game there.
frogfish
Congrats to the Spurs! They deserve that win.
nativechick1989
Don't count out the oldsters just yet ..... grin2.gif

Yeeeessssss! Bulls scooped #1 pick over all, only a 1.7% chance 17 out of the 1000 pingpong balls in the lottery machine
timbeau
Wow, we played HORRIBLY in game 1.

Out of all of our guys, Rasheed and Chauncey make me mad the most. With the way Chauncey played against Cleveland, Miami, and Boston last night, I'm starting to think he has EasternConferenceFinalsphobia or something.

And Sheed is just a clown.

Yikes...good thing we have another game in Boston that we can try to steal.
frogfish
Don't worry, they'll pick it up.
~Cheese~
Let's go Lakers original.gif

Kobe start out a tad crappy but he is much too good a player to go a full game with the stats he had at halftime.

I really hope it is a Lakers vs Celtics Final.

sorry that punny Rondo did not show up.
frogfish
He didn't score much, and half his steals were fouls (i.e. slap to the hands) that weren't called.

I swear Joey Crawford hates the Pistons...

Hopefully. These guys really kill me sometimes. sad.gif
timbeau
Proud of my guys tonight. Looked like the Pistons of old.

Rip is the man. Sometimes I wonder if we win these games without him.
frogfish
I told ya...laugh.gif

McDyess and Stuckey are my boys! They have been playing lights out.
nativechick1989
Oh Good Grief mad.gif 30 pts disgust.gif and down 2 games no.gif

Starting to get nervous again.....

timbeau
Yikes. I don't think SA has a chance of winning this series now. Kobe is two games away from reaching the Finals...I don't think he will be denied.
~Cheese~
ohmy.gif Go L.A.
frogfish
I'm ready for the Pistons to take a 2-1 lead tonight!
timbeau
Leave it to the Pistons to come home and absolutely stink up the joint after doing an amazing job to win in Boston. Letting scrubs like Kendrick Perkins get 12 and 9 is inexcusable.
frogfish
And all those Boston offensive rebounds...pathetic.

At least the Wings won! Thank God they were on at the same time, so I didn't have to watch the Pistons play...
timbeau
Thank goodness for the Wings. Heck, thank goodness for the Tigers! Other than the Pistons losing, I guess it was a good night. The weather being great doesn't hurt either. original.gif

frogfish
Well, it's in the Pistons hands now. They need to win Game 4.
timbeau
They can't play any worse than they did in Game 3, can they? I hope not!
timbeau
I hope seeing us lose the ECF for the third year in a row (this time at home) will prompt Dumars and the organization to make some MAJOR changes. It's time.

I will NOT watch a single game next year if something isn't done.
~Cheese~
Congrats Lakers original.gif
frogfish
..losing that 10 pt lead was pathetic.

Go Lakers!
