I often wonder what causes people to get caught up in the conspiracy theories.
If you are a believer in these theories, please post why you started believing in them and why you still believe in them.Also, which ones you believe in.
For the skeptics, such as myself, post why you don't believe in these theories and what causes other people to believe in them.

I don't believe much of the HOAX conpiracies. Why? Common sense.
Man did not go to the Moon, so they say. We have a Moon rock that has been examined by researchers from different countries. And the conspirator say they are all involved in the cover up. Now it's not only NASA involve, even people from other countries are now involve in fooling the world about going to the moon???
See what I mean? Common sense.

My posts get deleted when I make even the slightest remark against anyone elses thoughts(always vs skeptics). But skeptics are allowed to make posts outright calling anyone who believes to be a "tinfoil hat wearer" and nothing gets done at all.

Actually, I was asking a serious question. I want to see what drives people to believe in these theories. Check yourself Truth, I was wanting some real answers. Tinfoil hats is a term I had heard before. I was not calling anyone that. You are very defensive.

You don't give a damn about what anyone else has to say at all. The real answer is because these "theories" are the truth and they are real and the amount of people that believe in them should give you some sort of idea that they are the truth. You on the other hand listen to the people that are notorious for lying and covering up the truth and you have been brain washed for the entirety of your life by these people so that you remain clueless, just like the Matrix.

Infact this is what the Matrix is truly about and is an analogy for virtually EXACTLY how the world is today. Everyone is asleep and until they learn to accept the truth they will remain oblivious to the systems of control that govern their lives. Right now people like you and AROCES are asleep, completely unaware and uncaring of the real threats to yourself and the world you live in. Why? Because it was designed to be this way.

Ericraven, I have modified the title of this thread to something more appropriate. I can't imagine how you thought the term "Tinfoil Hat" was in any way neutral.

I will remind everyone to respect each others opinion. Calling people brainwashed or insinuating they do such things as wear tinfoil hats simply because they have a different point of view that you do is not acceptable.

Can you just give me an answer to my question? Sheesh.
