In your opinion, what is the worst horror movie you have ever seen.

I would have to say Wolf Creek. That movie just blows. First half of the movie you see them partying, travelling etc. The second half is where the action should begin except it's just awful. It's boring ,uneventful and just an awful waste of time. I don't know what idiot came up with the movie but it just sucks.

the remake of texas chainsaw
The remake of Grudge and the ring
any horrors made before 1980
the freddy and jason franchise

The Village...was a total bore.

There are plenty! The list is almost endless. The latest worst horror movie I saw was Slither. It sucked big time and was very B grade.

You DO know that it was supposed to be cheesy, right? It's a horror-comedy, not a serious horror film, so yeah, it's a B movie. That's how it was advertised, so why would you think it would be different? It's actually an extremely good movie.

The worst horror movies I have seen are The Grudge, The Village, and both Ring movies. The Ring 2 was probably one of the worst movies I have seen period. There's definately some other crappy horrors I've seen, though...
Bella-Angelique
The Blair Witch Project.
Startraveler
If you mean worst in a good way then I'd go with Peter Jackson's Dead Alive (I think it might be called Braindead outside the U.S.). Couldn't stop laughing. Great film.
Astrocreep
I would say almost all of the remakes of the classic horror movies, any movie involving chupacabras, and Frogs, that movie was awful, utterly awful.

Saw 2 It was a good movie, but it wasn't scary at all

Most "horror" movies suck.
There are things in reality a lot more frightening than a guy in a hockey mask waving a machete around.
Things like:
Seeing your Grandma naked.
Ugly people in the maternity ward.
Stupid people in the maternity ward.
Fat women in spandex.
Christian Rock.
Midgets (Used to have a friend that was terrified of the wee people. We always made sure to have "Willy Wonka", "Willow", or "The Wizard of Oz" on the tube when we knew she was coming.)
The denizens of Wal-Mart at 2 a.m..
People from Fouke, Arkansas. Home of the Boggy Creek Monster and full of people so backwards, butt-ugly and bigoted they make the guys from 'Deliverance' look normal.

Wookie McFly
The Hills Have Eyes. Completely predictable and boring.

Slither was a remake. And all the good stuff was cut out. If you rent it or purchase it when it comes out, it'll be sure to have a lot of extra scenes that werent apropriate for theatres. I have never seen it but i heard it was supposed to be campy. This is all coming from my sister's boyfriend. He said that it will be a lot better with all the scenes that werent shown in the theatre

Ugh. I agree.

The worst horror movie I have ever seen would have to be House of the Dead. Its basically a group of people shooting zombies with clips of the video game thrown in just to remind us that it's based on a game. Absolutely rotten!! And I like zombie movies!! I was at the video store recently and I noticed that there is a sequel. A sequel?? I can't bring myself to rent it. I probably will though. blush.gif

Blech. House of the Dead is probably one of the worst movies ever made. Anything Boll puts out is instantly bad. He didn't have anything to do with the sequel, though. It actually looks like it could be entertaining.
