Sylvia was busted on Montel's show yesterday, 8/16/06. A lady stood up and asked Sylvia what happened to her husband. Sylvia told her he's dead, he's in water, he must have drowned. The lady said, "He died in the 911 disaster, he was a fireman"..HUMMMM
Another lady stood up and wanted to know if she'll ever see her parents? Sylvia said she'll feel them, they're around her all the time. The lady said they were overseas. Sylvia said, "Yea, you'll have them around you in about a year".....

I DO believe there are people who have extra powers and I'd always hoped that Sylvia was one of them....but now I KNOW what a fake she is.
I feel sorry for the folks that have spent money to have her console them.

She's been known to be a fraud for quite a while, yet there's always some people who still believe she's telling the truth. I think it's disgusting that someone could make a career out of lying to people in such a way.

Unfortuntely some people don't feel guilty about exploiting the basic human fear that there is nothing after we die.

You have it wrong. She said he suffocated while trapped in the rubble, due to the fireman putting the fire out. The water drown him, while they were putting the fire out. Thats why there was such a silence after, because no one could fathem the though of someone alive wanting help, and coming that close. Only to be killed by the people trying to save him.

Whatever, that is the silliest thing I have ever heard. Sylvia Brown should be locked up for defrauding the public of millions of dollars.

I find it "silly" that you have probably not even ever, had a reading done in your life, and yet still have an opinion about this topic as if you know. And go ahead and say you have just for the sake of it, I believe you.

No I havent had a reading done because it is fake not wasting my hard earned money on a fake, If any of it were real why havent they cashed in on the millions being offered for proof positive it is real. If I were able to do what they claim I know I would be grabbing up the money. All of this stuff is just a way for people to make money off of people that dont know any better. I am sure if I were to study people for a couple of years there body language and gestures, I could probably do the same thing she is only thing is I have a conscience that wouldnt allow me to take advantage of people.

How is it that Sylvia Browne can offer readings for a certain amount of money, which i agree is costly, but watch and study pple for a couple of years. How could anyone claiming to be a psychic be able to do that and be renowned for all to know of. Don't you find this a bit oh say impossible. Im sure they have better things to do first of all, and secondly how could one become famous for something others claim to be fake, if there are millions upon millions of people in this world constantly criticizing everthing and everyone. Im sure they would not have made it to be worldly famous.

If I knew you, just because your a skeptic, and because im a believer, I would pay for you to have a reading just to see the look on your face when that person is done giving you that reading.

All you need is Montel or Oprah to say you are legitimate and all these poor people just beleive it. I know you work hard for your money just like I do so why would you give someone money because Montel Williams says she is a psychic she contradicts herself constantly she get predictions wrong and then when she finds out she weasels out of it with some off the wall explanation. She is a fraud praying on the week she is a predator nothing more and she is being assisted by the media as they profit from her too. She claims in her books there is no hell and yet on tv tells people there parents are in hell, well which is it, is there a hell or not? I know one thing I am not going to beleive it because sylvia brown and montel say it.

I have a question, why do you beleive in all of this I know you have had to have seen her really screw up on her so called predictions I know everyone else has. Why do you beleive in her so much. I have been rolling my eyes at this stuff for years my little sister used to beleive in this stuff till she realised how much money she had spent to basically learn what she allready knew, no amazing insights just common sense, it is so easy to read people watch these guys when they are doing a reading they are watching the subject so close almost looks uncomfortable they are looking for reactiong to what they are saying and there reactions guide there comments if they say something way off they can tell by the expression on your face and quickly retract and go a different route till they get the right reaction its all very simple really just some are better at it than others and some have friends like Montel that helps a lot.

I dont think she's a fraud on purpose.She just has a knack for subconciously picking up things about people imo.

I SAW THAT I SAW THAT! HAHAH IT WAS PRICELESS! Although other times she is really good. You have to understand psychics are NEVER 100% right. Just because they have that power it doesn't mean everything they say it's going to be true. She might sometimes lie just to save her reputation, but other times she is right.

To answer your question dmurdock, I hope I spelled that right I appologize if not, I like "this stuff" because it intrigues me, I wonder why so many people claim to have abilities and half of us don't even believe it. So whats wrong with believing in it anyway? Its all about what you can handle and what your ready to hear from them. If you take it too far you will drive yourself crazy. Otherwise, if you take it with a grain of salt, its all in good fun I think. To me if someone can tell me an upcoming event that will save me from making a huge mistake, then whats wrong with that? If it never happens it never happens it was my choice to inquire about it, so I should be held responsible if I take it too far and obsess over it or something.

It amazes me how much people can go against someone after only one small misunderstanding or misjudgement. Each persons ability varys upon person to person. Some or more intuitive than others and some see things speratically from what I understand. So just because they are making a living off of what they do best what is so wrong with that? It is the persons fault for spending the money, knowing perfectly well what they could be getting theirselves into, whether it be debt or what have you. Sylvia and all others who claim to have psychic abilities dont tell you to spend your money on them. They offer their services just like pretty much any business runs.

Wether there is such a thing as a psychic/medium i don't know but i do know that someone who tries to profiteer off other peoples misery, grief and loss like Sylvia Browne is certainly not a good person.

Heres a thought, if you are feeling lost, sad, lonely after the death of a partner/friend etc and you need someone to talk to and console you, talk to a friend, it is cheaper and you are less likely to be lied to.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, thanks for mentioning that.

Also, I will mention that I was talking to a lady on here, who happened to have psychic abilities and she did say that Sylvia is being "mis-informed" by a wrongful source. In other words the source who gives her her information is I guess not very nice. Im not sure what she meant by that, I wasnt able to continue talking to her. It kind of freaked me out because if you knew me, you'd know I was very much into Sylvia for some time and watched Montel religiously. When I heard that it definitely made me think.

I know she can be abrupt and say things that seem rude, but consider how much she has seen in her life. She is 70 something yrs old. Imagine all the different peoples problems, heartaches, murders, pedophiles, things like that shes seen in her lifetime. You become accoustomed to these things unfortunately and are somewhat de-sensitized. She does seem to care, but with all the same questions asked over and over to her, I could see how it would get repetitive.

Anyway, Im in no way trying to "stick up" for her really, I honestly could care less, its just that I dont think people really look at the whole picture sometimes as to why people can be the way they are.

My wife's grandmother had one done.That is why I hate her so much. She couldn't afford the money that Sylvia took. And for what. NOTHING. She told her nothing worth a crap.She died recently and my wife would love to see Sylvia in jail. That is where she belongs. The reading she gave was totally generalized with nothing of value at all. She is a fraud and a cheat.

It might be true.That still makes her a money grubbing fraud that deserves to have her body shaved and then tar and feathered for the public. Heck , in other countries they chop off hands for stealing. Sylvia would not have hands or feet left.
