but most were created by shooting real-world light sources, such as streetlights and car headlights.

Seems to me that "space junk, stars etc" could technically be considered "real-world light sources" couldn't they? grin2.gif

I don't get it? All UFOs vids are inconclusive anyway. There isn't one UFO video out in the public domain, where you can say.. 'This is, without doubt, not a fake and definitely an alien craft'.

It would require additional information to make that judgement call. thumbsup.gif

I would think that there are enough Questionable photo's and Video's taken by the public to use for such a project as measuring public response. To purposefully make false Videos to see the results is Financially a bad investment and gives the feel of an Organized "Disinformation Project".

I agree that this "Art Project" contributed only to the Detriment of the subject as it has indeed muddied the waters even more..

Let's have a look at their pretentious excuses.. where's the ART excuse?

In our opinion this was not a hoax or deception, but an immersive artwork. We had three main aims:

1. To give people a taste of the drama and excitement of a UFO Close Encounter, creating a genuine sense of wonder.

2. To improve research into videos of genuine UFOs. As we discovered, researchers are woefully equipped to spot fakes. We want ufoloogy to improve as a result of this experiment.

3. To show skeptics that they often rely on faith rather than evidence. (Many skeptics made bold statments about the clips being nothing more than balloons, space junk, stars etc - without doing their research. They were more easily misled than UFO-believers.)

Reminds me of crop circle maker's excuses. Anyway, take your crappy CGI art statements and shove em where the sun don't shine. devil.gif

Immersive Artwork.
Hoax and Deception funded by the Aussie government.

3 objectives: More Deception.

1. To give people a taste of the drama and excitement of a UFO Close Encounter, creating a genuine false sense of wonder.

2. To improve research into videos of genuine UFOs. As we discovered, researchers are woefully well equipped to spot fakes. We want ufoloogy to improve as a result of this experiment. Researchers spotting video fakes is futile if there's a machinery behind especially funded by the government.

3. To show skeptics believers that they often rely on faith rather than evidence. (Many skeptics made bold statments about the clips being nothing more than balloons, space junk, stars etc - without doing their research. They were more easily misled than UFO-believers.)

Government Project on truth and fairness in its Media production
