seems alarmingly obvious that this is something on or in the camera..either a droplet or morelikely an internal reflection..it pans around in sync with the camera NEVER changes size even when the picture is zoomed out..it even circles around (appearing to rise) as if on a mechanisim of lens that is turning to focuss

..but the clincher for me is that it dissapears when passing the center of the lens..internal light reflection I reckon!!

(and all that is only relevent if it isnt a hoax and has come directly from military sources)
SOUL-DRIFTER
I agree.
Seeing how it moves the way it does, I wonder if perhaps a small insect got on the lens.

something flaps in front of the lens & still it remains visible. Obviously as stated just something on the lens....no big deal

It is probably a case where the head up display is overlayed with a helmet mounted camera's forward view, so the mission record indicates where the pilot's attention was, in what direction was he looking, etc.

All of this is combined on the display, instead of a gun camera. Plus, what we don't see is the helmet camera's output. That is probably recorded, but obviously not displayed on this video.

I kinda thought it was part of the targeting myself. Like laser guided missiles or what have you

Actually, you're correct. I stand corrected, because FOX news says the time was 9:30 a.m., meaning this was an optically guided bomb, in the cross-hairs. I thought it was daylight, because of the obvious factors, but discounted there being a laser output.

There was probably a laser spot tracker, and an random motion to the laser. Perhaps that helps the pilot to identify it- it moves around the screen.
