First, Why are you speaking like this? Second, are you saying you woke up one day and started making clicking noises? Were you able to control this strange clicking language, or was it coming out on its own? How long until you were able to speak your normal language again?

Some African languages are made up of clicking and popping noises. Maybe you were talking to our decendents in your dreams.

This was the only time that this happened. It was only for maybe 30 seconds. I was talking on the phone. My daughter had called me in the middle of the night and that is how it happened. Once I became aware of this it stopped and I returned to speaking normally. It seems like I had heard once that it was a particular type of alien language. I just remember that as I was speaking that there were a lot of clicking sounds in the little speech I gave. Got any web sites that I can check that might have samples if alien languages?
Thanks Yall - yep- I'm from Texas

I have heard myself speaking in a foreign language (and also listening to) of some kind when I am falling asleep or when I am waking up. It stops as soon as I am aware of it but I can distinguish that I cannot understand it. I know that I do until I wake up. I don't consider this a dream.
I consider this a communication in perhaps a universal language that we all understand outside of the physical. Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. That's what I feel. I, however, did not hear any clicking sounds that I can remember.

And from South Africa - Xhosa in particular as well as the language of the Bushmen people, full of clicks.

Strieber thinks there are aliens running around speaking some kind of Gaelic.
Hopkins thinks this is bunk.
I've never heard them talk and probably never will, and so I don't suppose the issue will ever come up for me in any practical way.
BTW the Mayans used clicks and pops, too.

My guess is that you were clicking a tune that you made up involuntarily.

Yeah, I know. Just saying there are those who have this elaborate alien Gaelic theory, which sounds bizarre. Then again, it all does.
