If analyses excluded the possibility that the photograph had been altered with, than there was no way it was photoshopped. It could probably be sun glare, but who knows. What it really is, I don't know.

It looks like a reflection to me. I've seen it happen with digital cameras, you'll get a reflection from something elsewhere in the room. The object doesn't look solid at all. Look at the egdes, you can see the trees through it. It just doesn't look right to me.

Looks like a glare...

I don't think it's glare. There's a spot of light on the object and it seems like it's some sort of rounded cylinder.
It looks like some kind of inflatable object to me but what it is I don't know.

Looks either like a deformed eyeball, or the Rebel Alliance sign? Seriously though, looks like a sun glare on the camera lens.

I personally think it's some kind of lamp shade, paper lantern or inflatable that was attached to the line (hence the proliferation of clothes pegs near the object) and was blown by the wind. There are way too many to find the exact match so it's just my theory.
I would say it's not sun glare. The highlight on the object and the clear "seem" running down it make that fairly clear to me.
Like many of these photos, my initial question is, if the object was not seen when the phot was taken, why was the person taking a photo of a clothes line in a field?

I believe I saw something similar to that in an aviation weekly magazine. Balloon type craft used for border surveilance. Two passengers can sit inside.

It's a bud or a nut on a plant/tree/bush. Do you not see the greenery in the bottom left background? That's what it looks like to me.

That's a good point.
Another possibility is that it's some kind of playground ball (you see how big some of those things are) that got kicked across the playground just as she snapped the shot. But I've got to refer to Donfie's question: Why is she taking a picture of a clothesline?

To me, it looks exactly like a wooden knob for a cabinet door or drawer. Can't explain how it would get in the picture, though.
