The watchers can exist in this dimension and the lower 4th dimension. When you think about the story of atlantis, it is clear that it must have sunk in the great deluge (flood.) The story of atlantis's technology was far more advanced than that of the cultures for the last 6,000 years. With a few simularities here and there.
