At approximately one a.m. I was driving to the house, which is at a dead end graveled road upon a mountain, my truck suddenly just died and I could not start it again. Leaving the truck set, I continued up the road toward the house, which couldn't be over maybe an quarter mile or less . Knowing the road well, this was no big deal, until all of a sudden I walked off the graveled road onto a paved road, that I never knew. I started seeing people walking around with flashlights and talking, and even saw trucks driving threw the fields and mountain sides lighting up the mountain. I ask out loud what is going on, but it was if I had just entered a new dimention or something. I was so scared, I turned and headed back the other way looking for my truck, finding it and sizing what I had just seen. Once again I headed to the house because the truck would not start, and again walking upon what ever was there, I continued walking as fast as I could to the house, walking threw these people, that didn't seem to really be there. When I arrived to my parents house which is just a few hundred yards from mine. I woke them and we went outside to investigate what I had just seen. I was still seeing these people and lights, but my parents standing right beside me saw nothing. What is going on. I have never in my life experienced something so real, but yet why doesn't anyone else see this. Does anyone know, or has anyone ever experienced this crazy what ever it is. Despirate for answers.

I once saw a show with a lady who claimed to have crossed into a different dimension where she was invisible, but never anything like this. Maybe it wasn't you who crossed into another dimension, but the people you saw.

If I was you I would try and recreate the same setting as before, and this time try and interact, and move further into this strange world.
You said they passed straight through you, so I presume you have nothing to fear from them. Look around for buildings, or signs, or anything you can associate with, and then once you have a clear picture ask people around, (once you return) maybe, if you notice a sign or building, you might find it was the past, that you in someway entered. And some old next door neighbours will recognize some of the signs or buildings you describe, and give you a date!

that was a cool story. very odd.

Sometimes I dwell on the fact that all paranormal experiences could be linked together as events caused by multiple dimensions colliding like thunder clouds on a hot day.
Maybe our energies - being electrical - somehow 'collide' with other energies from other dimensions. These other dimensions could be running at different speeds and time zones which throws up loads of possibilities. UFO's being from a more advanced timezone. Period Ghosts being from a slower running dimension. (Has anybody seen Jet Li's - The One).

Then again, maybe I'm a complete nutter like my boring ex-boyfriend used to say!
