Just get Avant Browser instead. It is a lot better. Trust me. Firefox is too overrated.

I haven't worked with firefox alot. Is it asking for a specific plug in? That's the only thing I could think is try to go to the websites of the plug in (while in firefox) and download them from there, as opposed to letting firefox try to find them automatically. Another option is checking to make sure you have the newest version of firefox, updating it may help.

Go to the firefox google home page and go on Firefox Help and Add-ons and look for the plugin.

Avant is just glorified IE...which is exactly what I wanted to get from, hence why I use Firefox, Opera, and (rarely) Seamonkey.

As for the topic, Firefox's plugin finder is quirky, especially in Linux (not sure what OS you're running), and the auto-installer for them doesn't work well too often. Going to the plugin manufacturer/distributor's website should hook you up just fine. original.gif
