An excelent find!!!
well I am not commenting upon its "truth",rather I dont want to.
but what I would like to say is,the story teaches us an essential moral.
i.e
If we want to discover extraterrestrials,then the 1st place to search for it is our OWN planet.every corner and inch of it,rather sending unmanned spacecrafts to collect soil samples from another planet and derive insignificant conclusions about its habitats and its possibility to support life.

Admiral Byrds diary really was found by Ohio State University (where he was an alumn)
archivists. But it didn't have anything about hollow earth or alien nazis

I dont know about you,but to me this sounds like some mad religious wishful thinking.
There are still a lot questions about the 1947 *Task Force* sent to the Antartic to be answered though...
i "recon" that there would have to be proof that this admiral byrd was actually an admiral and not a fantasy character from some internet writer.
