What do you find better more scary? for those of us who have seen the ring 100 times would it be pointless to see ringu?


I did not find the ring really all that scary to be honest but it was a good movie

The Ring was too americanised, the originals are far far better...

noone does horror movies better than Japan, they just have this freaky edge to making a chair, sitting by itself in a dark room with nothing else in it but THAT chair utterly terrifiying.

I would have to agree. The original is much scarier. Its hard to watch it in a dark room though, difficult to read the sub-titles.

I'm pretty sure that Ringu is scarier. I haven't had a chance to catch it yet, but Japanese movies are usually scarier than American. I'm planning to watch Ju-On (Japanese version of Grudge)

Ringu makes the ring look like the carebears.

the japanese version of the grudge makes the american version look like pants also.

The original Ring. It is a Japan made movie which is much scarier than the remake.

I saw both i guess if i had to choose i would say ringu as i think Namoi watts is an idiot
but yeah ringu hardly used any computer graphics and such so it was abit more real in a sense i guess which made it more scary then the other version

The Audition was more gorey in the last 15 minutes than most movies are in 90 minutes.

It was mostly just weird and disturbing but not scary.
