If you died right here, right now, and you had the choice to go to heaven or stay on earth (in spirit form), what would you do?

Personally i don't beleive in heaven... but i wouldn't choose to stay with my loved ones... because it wouldn't seem right... so many people in the world have never had that choice, why should I?

Depends… are we talking about the biblical heaven, or what my own personal idea of heaven would be.

If it was the biblical heaven, and some kind of religious loophole was going to allow me through those pearly gates, then I’d probably stay on earth. Don’t think the biblical heaven would be my kind of place…

Then yeah, I’d go. Staying on earth wouldn’t ‘comfort’ family and friends, it would freak them out! They’d want to get on with their lives, not have a ghostly reminder of the past hanging around all the time.

I think I'd probably move on - there would be no point in hanging around where I can't actually DO anything other than observe or freak people out (although that would be fun for a while!). I think it would get very, very boring after a while, and I have a curious nature - it would kill me all over again NOT to know what was on the "other side".

I don't know whether I'd rather go to my personal heaven, or stay behind and terrify people and exact bloody supernatural vengeance...the two are pretty similar.

If I went to my idea of heaven...then I would stay there....what's the point in going down to scare the living crap out of my loved ones??

I'd become a poltergiest, so I could scare everyone. I'd also haunt my friends - as well as putting holes through walls, though I'd also steal from the rich and bury the treasure. That way I can live the pirates "life", and if anyone finds it... I can throw rocks at them so they leave it alone.

I'd stay until I was positively sure that my children were in the correct hands - meaning not my ex-husbands. If there was the slightest chance of him getting the kids I would haunt him until he went insane or went far far far away.
I think it would be really really tough to make the decision to move on and not watch my boys grow up, even from afar.

Personally, I'd stay as a spirit, so long as I could help people and become visible to those who I choose to see me. That way, I could be a guardian angel. BUT I want a getout clause and for someone to save me a seat in Heaven for if/when the Earth's population dies.

I would stay as an evil spirit and scare the bejezzus out of people ,then when they tried to find me i would hide so people thought they were completely mad.

It would be a great time.

So what would be the point in being a spirit? Actually, why not just get in there and do that now? Could be a lot of fun

A difficult choice, has anyone seen house or angel, what if we were able to interact with the physical reality if we could i might stay behind and act as a guide for lost people as well as making sure the goverment doesn't get too corrupt, i'd be a guide to investigations and murders and make sure they got caught. you know that sort of stuff. if i couldn't interact id leave for heaven

but my heaven would to know that my family is doing well and that i would be remembered not as a bad person as well as it not getting boring, meeting up with friends eventually and knowing my families safe and wont go down under

Cant believe no one thought of these reasons, now the choice gets more intresing

and to add in angel skike was brought back as a ghostlike thing but was able to learn to become physical as if he never died in the first place, except he was now able to walk through walls and become invisible

in ghost the guy (dead) was able to learn from another ghost how to act like a strong breeze and move things, even with little control of how much by, however this was just 1 days study.

I do do it now, it would just be more fun as a spirit because i could have lots of cool special effects.

The bleeding walls and stacking chairs would be much more fun then the boring old jumping out and scaring the crap out of people.

if i was to stay behind i would be a poltergiest and travel the world id like to see a shark eat a ghost lol wait mybe there would be ghost sharks meep also i would watch over depressd kids or ones that have been bullyed in to the brink of of commiting suecide and mybe help them out at times ( who said i could`t have fun at the same time )

You mean 'stay on' as in stay on as some kind of guide as opposed to a freaky undead spirit?
I guess it depends on what your friends and family are like. If they are the sort who would accept a spiritual force as a guide then maybe it might be tempting to hang around. But if they didn't make the same choice, you'd eventually be left alone. Personally, my friends would never believe in a spirit guide and would just be freaked out if I died and came back, whatever the form were.

That's kind of what I would do. Become a guardian angel over my friends and family, but not forever

As I said before, my aim is to help people... if i could spend my entire life doing that... i'd be happy.
