ten years ago on a clear blue day i can still remember clearly the image that will stay in my life forever. I was cooking in the kitchen my brother ran and pulled me into the bedroom and told me to look up into the sky. What I saw will never be explained it was a huge space craft very rectangular in shape with flood lights like on a tennis court surrounding a vast amount of area maybe covering miles. I couldnt believe my eyes and pinched myself to make sure I was awake. I ran to get my camera. When I returned within seconds this huge spcae craft dissappeared out of sight. When independence day came out I saw the similar space craft which I saw 10 yrs ago. Sometimes I wonder if it was dream and i know for a fact that my brother saw it with me so we must both be awake and conscious of it.

Independence Day the movie? Are you saying you saw the ship from that movie before the movie was made?

huh.gif

I think I misunderstand.

This whole city in this picture is a mirage.
It is possible that you saw one.
People tend to forget that this phenomena is real.
Some very large UFO sightings may be mirages.

Yes

Sometimes I wonder if someone saw that ship as well and made the storyline and animations.

I live in central London so there is absolutely no chance of a mirage

I am sure many people would've seen it as well but nobody has yet come forwards. The whole ship disappered within seconds or even milliseconds. You would look like a fool explaining that to your neighbours.

It was real and no mirage

I dunno spirited... this seems bogus on a number of levels. Youre telling me a space ship, covering "miles" of territory was over downtown london and this is the first we're hearing about it?

That and the similarity to the ID movie...

Not very credible IMO... Sorry.

Yes I know it sounds absolutely absurd.

I am just telling you what I saw, sharing my experience.

You can believe or not believe. thumbsup.gif

that should be scary.

Sorry, just to clarify, What year exactly did you see this object?

Ten years before independence day? 1986-ish.

Yes about that time

I am afraid even if I look silly and ridiculous on this board I've to share my experience. It has been a truly exciting and weird experience maybe so out of context for both of us to even imagine. Sometimes I even joke to my brother that we must've been in the same dream but this really happened. If I was making a story up I would not have chosen London maybe somewhere really remote.

As before believe or not believe you decide. I am here to just share my experience thumbsup.gif

Well lets see. "It was a clear , blue day" and the object "covered miles" and had "Flood lights like on a tennis court". Pity no one other than your brother seen this over London. It may have even made the papers! thumbsup.gif

Bella that's interesting about the mirage, I believe I've seen one of those before on a beach looking out to the sea where it looked like 100's of ships were riding in on the horizon. Maybe more of an illusion. It only happened at a certain spot and would disapear on a higher ground and now im just pointlessly rambling lol _ I actually never thought to take a pic of it!

Spirited perhaps just a dream? Can't help but think that what you described would have been witnessed by so many - pop of london and greater, 15 million people.........
RollingThunder06
Have you ever talked to your brother about this as the years went by? Doing this would clear up any mistakes either one of you have about this incident. Years can cloud things. If you two agree with each other on what happened than be happy that you have a witness. Thank you for sharing, it is always interesting to hear people's experiences.

Sounds definitely like a fake sighting...Bad try kid thumbsup.gif

I believe that alien space crafts could be using the cloaking effect/invisible effect which bends light so that it appears as invisible. A malfunction in their system allows us to see the space craft briefly before the system reboots or repairs itself and the space craft disappears from view again.

Even if this object appeard in the sky for a split second over London, thousand of people surley would of seen it and spoke about the sighting.

I cant see millions of people having there heads down all at the same time when this object appeard. hmm.gif
