It's the featured story on Crime Library right now. Just to note, it is a little rough around the edges, as well... He did kill and they do tell you what tools of his trade were. As he just wasn't killing them flat out. Just so you know. thumbsup.gif

About 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 1977, John LaMay, 17, told his next-door neighbor that he was going to Redondo Beach to see a guy he'd met at a gym in downtown Los Angeles whose name was Dave. When John didn't come home that night or the next day, his hysterical mother called the El Segundo police, certain that something had happened to him, claiming that her son didn't just go off for days at a time.

Police chalked it up as another teen runaway.

On March 18, the remains of John LaMay, who was homosexual, were discovered beside a highway south of Corona. He had been carefully dismembered, all the body parts washed and drained of blood, and neatly packed into five industrial trash bags. Each bag was carefully sealed with nylon filament tape, and three of the bags had been crammed into an empty 80-gallon oil drum, the other two left on the ground next to it. The boy's head was missing, but a birthmark clearly identified the remains as belonging to John LaMay.

Wanting to know he wanted to kill at age 8... Jeez... That's just insane. Then his rage to take out is pretty sick. He claims 32 victims but only enough evidence was found for 21 counts of murder. no.gif Kind of disappointing he is still living in prison. disgust.gif

I just can't understand why people like him are allowed to live....

He should have been dead a long time ago IMO.

After a conversation with Kratos, I've decided to try to give this topic a chance. Just to clarify, this is the discussion Kratos would like to focus on regarding this subject, and I quote ".........he's one of the more famous serial killers out there that has some degree of mystery to his life, views and actions. I was actually hoping to get some profiling discussion going. Mainly because only 5% of those types of serial killers are in the general population of serial killers and less then 1% of the total population is sociopathic." It's a viable enough request, so I've reopened the topic for the time being.

Once again, we're not looking for the usual litany of oft-times vulgar and/or inappropriate comments expressing disgust or horror over this person's actions, so please refrain from posting them.
