Thousands of people reported witnessing the apparition of an old man leaning against a grave in Living TV's Most Haunted Live on Friday. One witness: "They were showing a clip of 4 people who were staying at the abbey taking a picture of a grave. When their flash went off, a old mans figure could be seen leaning against the grave. I phoned the Line and the girl told me that they replayed the video and the apparition is clearly visible." Most Haunted is a popular paranormal investigation series in which a team consisting of presenter Yvette Fielding, investigator Phil Wyman and spiritualist medium Derek Acorah spend the night at various haunted locations across the UK to find evidence of ghosts. Now in it's third season, Most Haunted is one of Living TV's most popular shows, and certainly one of the most controversial.

The Live edition this year was broadcast from Beaulieu Abbey. This is the first clear sighting of a supposed aparition caught on camera during Most Haunted Live, and has sparked much excitement amongst the paranormal community.

I watched Most Haunted Live but never saw the apparition when the clip was shown. I video-taped the show so have been meaning to go back and take a look, but from reading comments on other web forums people now believe that the apparition is just one of the "all nighters" kneeling by the grave as the camera flashes, making him look like a ghost.

Thanks again to Pendo for this, here's a video capture showing the 'Aparition' during Most Haunted Live. It does look pretty much like a normal guy kneeling next to the gravestone, although that seems an odd thing to be doing under the circumstances.

As far as I know it's only shown on Flextech channels in the UK, Living TV and FTN are the only two channels I've ever known it to be broadcasted on.

yeah its kind of obvious that its not a ghost, seeing as he appears to be dialing a cell phone or using a PDA.

I also saw the man, i recorded the show. he is not see through, and he is part of the team, there were a few of them milling around. The most haunted team cheekily showed the clip of them photographing the grave with the bloke behind it and then showed the results of the photo, but one without him on it.

The show is so about ratings these days that we all have a good laugh about how crap it is,

I don't remember any of the over night crew or team having gray hair and a beard...and whos to say thats a mobile in his hand it could be anything, looks like we will just have to wait for most haunted to release a proper image rather than a television photograph.

I'm sorry you appear to have lost some of your sight was it a nasty accident or where you born like that? the grey hair bearded man is clearly bald and clean shaven, not mention one of the crew.

just thought i would post reply
i saw the most haunted live with the 4 people alone.
when they took the photo and the flash went off i was schocked at what i saw. but having recorded the program i went back to it with mum watching several times and it is clearly a 30-40 yr old bald man with either a mobile phone or some ghost hunting device. IT WAS NOT AN APPARITION it was a real man in a leather or denim lookin jacket.,.
please take a closer look at your videos if you recorded it

on the whole it is a good show.. althought most live ones i have seen never are very good. although i was confused as what to think about the footsteps they heard and then the motion sensore went off.
i do beleive there is something or someone out there but i dont always believ derick!!

something actually graped her arms and jolted her back slightly.
if you recorded the program take a look as i was SCHOCKED.
if you watch the bit in slow motion you can see the reaction on her face
this was no hoax this was real
it was not an act.

On subject of apparition in most haunted.. i took a couple pics recently at a graveyard which seem to have characterful faces... the character in them just leaps out at you!

Any one give an opinion?

yea, one... ah well, sure does anyone really understand any of them.. we all doubt that much bout evry pic thats what i read... at end of day we can just post what we pick up.. no big deal.. but i think there is a lot more tothis than just pic taking.. when you are there at the time ..its the feel.. and if you have had paranormal experiences (as me) and many others.. i tink you really do sense stuff..

i have a "feeling" for the area i take my pictures in... and i think most people would sense an atmosphere..
