Hey just thought i'd suggest this, as i've seen it used on another forum i' m on i guess that somewere down the line it has already be suggest or discussed, But here it is anyway.

Reputation system, it's used well on the two boards i'm on and basically someone makes a good post, plus rep, it's a good system and would be good here, and for me it shows that you liked there post etc...

Onlyy thing is there VB boards, and this is IPB so not sure if it's availble probably is but i've always found it to be a great system...

I disagree, at least at this time. There's too much flaming around here, people getting picky abt things not even on topic (such as spelling), people arguing through posts, and, to the other extreme, too much favouritism. I think your idea is great, I just don't think it would be good at this time as it might only enhance the negative behavior that seems to happen (IMO) too much. This place was awesome several years ago, had THE best news anywhere, and people could post and get decent and informative replies without having to wade through all the muck. I liked coming here ALOT better even two years ago....times have changed *sigh*

A reputation system has been considered in the past, but it was never implemented. There are too many problems associated with it, and too much oppertunity for abuse, a system like that would work better on smaller forums I think.

Rassy, if you feel that someone is flaming or being disruptive then please report them so that we can do something about it. Same goes for the 'muck' you are referring to, or anything else you see that you believe needs our attention.

While constructive criticism is welcome, you can take an active role in solving the problems you believe are present here by hitting the 'report' button and letting us know about the things you mentioned so that we can do something about them. thumbsup.gif
