For some time now I have been seeing shadows. When I hear about other people who see them they all say that they see them out of the corner of their eye and when they look the shadow is gone. That doesn't happen with me. Most of the time I won't even see them but I will just get the urge to turn my head. And when I do turn they don't just disappear, I can clearly see them duck behind things. And when I check, there is nothing there.
But last night it was different.
I was walking into our downstairs kitchen and when I turned I saw the right half of a shadow by the bathroom door. It was far enough away from the door for me to see that it was only half. But in the same instant that it was there, it was gone.
That was the first time I was caught off guard by a shadow, it was the first time I saw a semi-complete shadow (I usually see a head only), and it was the first time that a shadow disappeared without moving behind something first.
I don't know what to make of all this. The shadows seem to be stalking and watching me and I don't know why. I don't think that anyone else in the house is experiancing anything like this, and for as long as I can remember all of the paranormal stuff that goes on in the house only happens to me (like the night I went through sleep paralasis, began levitating over the edge of my bed and saw a ghost come out of the celing).
I just want to know what could be going on and why it's only happening to me.

I won't say anything about the shadows but sleep paralysis is NOT paranormal in any way shape or fashion.

I was just using that as an example. If you want another then fine...
Something fiddleing with my door knob when everyone else in the house is asleep.

Welcome to UM Furancewhelp, sometimes there aren't easy answers. I can only assume from your post that this is something that is not discussed within the household. If that is the case, it makes it so much harder on you. The reason that comes to mind that you are being contacted is because you are more sensitive than other people. Maybe they are not exactly watching you, they could be just showing up at anytime and this includes when you are and are not there. Hopefully more people will respond to you and give you some advice on how to handle this. Becca is also right about looking through some old postings on different subjects and they may have some responses to help you. Keep posting if you feel comfortable enough to. Will keep an eye out for them.

Actually, we talk about them quite often. My sister gets a kick out of hearing about these things. She once told me that she's jelous that they only happen to me (whether that's good or bad, we can't say.)

Did you film this door knob wiggling while breathing heavy?
Just asking.

I didn't film it. One night I got out of bed to plug in my fan when my door knob began to move. I wasn't in the right position to see it move but it was loud enough for me to hear. I sware, for the next 10 min I didn't even blink. I just sat there stareing at my door.
