Ashiene
So much darkness this night brings
That even the church bells fail to ring
I know this blackness all too well
For during this time my ceaseless hungers swell

I walk among the shadows now
The dim lights flickering all around me
There is little time to waste
And so I must make haste

I see her now a girl so lonely
Hiding in a corner her features lovely
I moved towards her my footsteps silent as ever
And I chuckled she wasn't that clever

At first towards me her body faced
Though when she saw me her heart raced
Oh look at her skin milky as cream
While she stood there mouth open in a scream

But before the cry could leave her lips
I pounced at her in a powerful leap
And with strong arms I circle them around
The young girl as she fell to the ground

The warmth of her slender body was like fire
Ever drawing me closer to her
Fulfilling me and my greatest desire
I moved closer whispering in her ear

And baring my fangs I lunged at her neck
Biting into the soft juicy flesh
Ahh I sigh and looked at her
But now not even a whimper I could hear
Sthenno
You’ve got some great imagery in your poems, and as I said before I think they all have a lot of potential. I do think, however, that you need to think a little more about meter. You have a 7-9-8-11 structure, for example, which is difficult for the reader to pace, then an 8-10-7-6 which is equally difficult. Judging by the frequency you have posted your poems in, I would guess you’re doing each of them in quite a short period of time. For first drafts, they are impressive, but you need to spend a lot longer on them. The time you should spend on a poem is not proportional to how you would form a piece of prose, each word takes a lot longer to get just right. Another thing to remember is that rhythm can often be more powerful than rhyme.

Having said all that, I definitely think you do have potential. Have you considered taking a writing course? Your poetry and prose reminds me a lot of what I wrote when I was your age; I took a degree course and now I work as a writer, so you should definitely keep studying. Good luck!
