:o Has any one seen, heard or read anything about something like this? My brother came to my house one night and told me he had a friend that found the corps of something that was shaped like a human baby, but had kind of scaley skin and a short tail. His friend wanted someone to take it away, but every one was afraid of what it may have been.

These examples don't include a tail, but perhaps it was an abandoned Harlequin Icthyosis suffering child.

It's such a horrible condition...
Here are some links:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkcvS3tzBLEhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlequin_Ichthyosishttp://www.scalyskin.org/The condition is typically described as the child having hard, scaly, cracked skin... If you google image the condition it might look similar? I warn you it's not for the fainthearted, it's really saddening for me to see babies in such a horrible condition so I apologise in advance for those who follow the links

'Tis Voldemort, obviously. Who wants to tell coldethyl that this thread has been necroposted upon, so she can shout at the offending party?

Well, I don't see what's wrong with necroposting. It gives newer members a chance to read about/comment on some older topics that they may have never seen before. Besides, I'd rather read this thread and learn about something new, than to read the 100 thousandth thread on bigfoot or atlantis.

Being a 5 year old thread, I don't doubt the link does not work anymore, and there really isn't any reason to keep the thread open. Perhaps we can add it to a UM time capsule and we can let someone raise it from the dead again in another 5 years...
