Thank you all for your imput yesterday. I tried the experiment last night. I walked under streetlight and then stopped for 3 mins. Streetlight did not come back on. I guess I wasn't fully open with everyone. For fear of ridicule. I own a cabin on a lake. I often find myself waking up late at night and having a overwhelming urge to go outside. I find myself in front of the door before my senses return. I have also seen silent sky objects. When I was 10, my whole room lit up a bright green color. I feel very uneasy in darkness. Those are some of the reasons why I know it is something more than "electricity". Sorry I didn't elaborate yesterday, but I had to test the waters. Anyone experience any of these? alien.gif

me, my best friend, and my brother all do this, only we've noticed that me and my friend turn them on, while my brother turns them off...its nothing really, just coincidental

Are you walking around at dawn? Could be the streetlights are just sensing it's time to shut off and you just happen to be there.

Im still a bit confused, everytime you go under a street light it shuts off? or just sometimes. It could be censored, as stated above, or mere coincidence? still sounds fishy

That stuff really does happen. I'd be interested to know what kind of light in the spectrum the sensors could pick up.

Visible light obviously, as that is what sort of light the streetlights are designed to replicate.

Hey don't be so rude you weren't born with all the knowledge either.
what are you some teen or something, grow up. It was a good question because there are spectrums of light not visible to the human eye but visible to electronic devices, genius

Come on, this is nothing special. Street lights turn out on me all the time, and it ovbiously happens to alot other people as well. Can't say I can explain it, just sayin, nothin special
