I remember when they first aired this video on Fox. Experts weren't too certain if it was hoaxed or not at the time because all the elements in the film were consistant to the 1947 era, such as the old pulse phone on the wall, the suits they wore, etc. What evidence have they found from the video which proved it's fake?

Ray Santilli, the man who 'found' and promoted the footage on Fox in the early 90's, came out a couple years later and admitted the footage was completely fake. This was shortly after Fox aired a special documentary debunking the video.

I'd never seen this video before, very interesting; despite being completely fake, of course.

Anybody remember about when it came out to the public? They did do a good job about the surroundings looking like the 1940's.

I belive that there are aliens and I am sorry to say this, but we will never know if they are real or not.

reason being
if there are aliens and we all saw it with our own eyes(like independence day) it would create such hysteria in people that the governments would not be able to keep order around the world. I truly believe that the governments are to blame for alot of cover-ups especially things that are real and they have no idea how to explain it to people.
For me that is where the government cover ups come from, they simply don't want us to know or that they can not explain it or they don't want to. Those who have been abducted or seen things have always been told that they are crazy or that they are just seeing things or threatned, as the claims go.

I even feel very sorry for people who could swear black and blue that they saw a UFO or any creature that may be real, and others tear them down, because of reality.
Now I am not saying that they(dragons, mermaids, faries so on so forth) do exist although i would love to, but we all as people with the freedom of belief and speech and will have the right to believe these things exsist and no it does not make us crazy. If we can believe in aliens with more intellignce than us and maybe life on other planets, then why can't we believe other creaures exist. Yes it is common sense to be realistic in life but then we are not opening our minds to other possibilities.
They discover many new different species everyday. The universe is soo vast and we haven't even began to understand it. It may hold many possibities that haven't been discovered and that may mean anything from the change of time to other portholes into different worlds that may link to ours, that could be a reason to why we rarely see theses things, it isn't that hard to believe when we don't understand the universe surrounding us.
(How about the mothman?? Alot claimed to see it. 100 in a year if memory serves, where is it now?)


If things like aliens or mythical creatures do exist, we will never have the comprehension to actually believe our eyes because our first intial thought is going to be it's not real it can't be, we feel this way because of the pressures of society we all have to be the same and those that think differently are shunned and called crazy. Because it is always physically impossible for something of that extent to exist, in the human mind. Alot of the time many say "well if i don't see it with my own eyes, it doesn't exist". Maybe people that have seen these things may be spirtually open to seeing things that others don't, or their mind is open to things that may exist and that the human comprehension wooled their eyes.

If anything in this world is real, we will never know and we will never know what to belive whether we are a skeptic or a believer, the governments are so powerful that any one trying to prove alien or other existance will be shuttle away quickly. Anything that is suspicious in the government makes me think it is a cover up.

I know that I have written about the beliefs of others as well as to whether that video is real, i just want to say I will never bring another person down for something that they believe in or don't for that matter or think that may be real, for I have heard a few times on this site this quote" if you believe in something then it exists to a certain extent" for there is nothing silly about beliveing in something or not believing, sometimes believing is the only hope people have, just like faith and religion.

Well, the most logical conclusion anyone can come to in my opinion would be that the gonvernment WOULD cover-up anything related to Aliens if it somehow got out. So there really is no way to know if any of these videos are real or not.

Maybe the powers that are just putting out all these videos with the intention of coming out a month or so later and proving it a fake. Those who believe in them are then shown to be kooks. Then after a long enough toime has passed, they release something real and nobody pays it any attention. That or they just assume that it's a fake too.

This girl I was dating a number of years ago when the Martian Rock story first broke actually said: "So what, it's germs from Mars. Big deal". Maybe that is the kind of callous attitutde that they want to fauster in all of us.

By the way, most everybody now agrees that the video was a fake but a well done one.

Santilli and Shoefield stated that they had "restored" the damaged footage by filming a simulated autopsy on a fabricated alien, based upon what they saw in 1992, and then adding in sections of the original film that had not degraded. They have not identified which parts are original footage.

I think that the government would try and cover it up when it came out in fox and got fox to say it was fake so that it wouldn't cause a huge outburst and a mass outbreak of fear o.o cause people as lots of people know poeple are scared of which they don't understand. So the government kind of out of protection for people would say its fake because some people might cause rallies, groups and so on.


Just saying you guys should google the Fermi Paradox. The Fermi paradox was made by a very smart scientist, the fermi paradox is supposed to solve how many aliens are in the unverse and if so how many we should have already encountered. Just some food for thought for everybody.

Not every claim that something is a fake can be believed. For instance, the guy who discovered the Roswell debris and started the idea that it was a UFO was forced to retract that statement, and claim that it was a weather balloon. He was in the military, after all. In old age and retired he made an about-face and said he was forced to say it was a weather balloon.

The video of the autopsy is believable. The fact that the man who introduced it to the world said it was a fake, doesn't mean it was a fake. He may have been forced to retract his original statement, considering the power over people by the military.

I counted 6 fingers on his right hand. I also noticed that when the black contact lense was removed from his eye, the
structure underneath is just like our eyes, but colorless. The organs being removed were unrecognizable. I guess the
evolution of internal organs is different everywhere. But the humanoid body form is universal, since it provides an ecological niche which favors the steady increase of intelligence and of tools.
