I think it's awesome and this thread is pointless.. God forbid you use a blog to make such annoucments but hey... You never ever just know... A blog entry might just kill you if you use it.

Edit: I should add this quick... If you didn't know about the blog system click 'My Blog' next to 'My Controls' on top of the page to set one up.

Or alternately you could have looked for opinions from members in the animated avatar thread
