Everton look to be relegation candidates this year.
I'm looking foward to our good old cup tie against Hartlepool tomorrow, should be a good chance to see what the summer signings we've yet to field can do. Unfortunately I'm stuck in a school event so can't even listen on the radio

This is what I've got so far, if anyone's interested.
Goalie:
Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus, Italy. The only somewhat good-looking goalie I could think of.)
Defence:
Olof Mellberg (Aston Villa, Sweden. I saw him without the beard once, and he was gorgeous!)
Erik Edman (Stade Rennais, Sweden. Looks slightly alienesque, but still droolworthy.)
Owen Hargreaves (Bayern Munich, England. I caught sight of him during the Euros and damn he's pretty!)
Midfield:
Pavel Nedved (Juventus, Czech Republic. The cutest footieplayer EVER!!!)
Francesco Totti (AS Roma, Italy. The best-looking llama in the world.)
Forward:
Andrei Shevchenko (Milan, Ukraine. Definitely worth a look. *nodnod*)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Juventus, Sweden. The sun shines when Zlatan smiles.)
Edited to add Owen Hargreaves.
wrighty
Sep 19 2005, 07:07 PM
Not bad. No where near the same as mine but it's still a good team.
Sofia Alexandra
Sep 19 2005, 07:13 PM
Yup, I know.
(And yes, I know Totti's a forward in Roma, but I put him in the midfield here. Why? Well, otherwise Nedved'd been all alone, and though he could probably run to the end of the world I figured I'd give him a bit o' slack...)
WHY is it so hard to find good-looking defenders?
wrighty
Sep 19 2005, 08:20 PM
I think totti would play quite well in midfield.
I think the man united team would be my dream team. lol.

I thought Beckham was?
I hope you've noticed that I haven't included David Beckham in my PrettyBoy United. Why is that, you might wonder?
Werll, he
is good looking, but in an artificial kind of way. True beauty contains a few rough edges, and Mr Beckham ain't got any of those.
wrighty
Sep 22 2005, 06:27 AM
Beckham is over rated now but in my opinion he was one of the best footballers in the world when he played with the reds.

Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed his return to training has been put back because of a fresh injury problem.
Poor Guy.
Manchester United's Paul Scholes says they must win their next two games against Blackburn and Fulham to have any hope of winning the Premiership.
It brings a tear to my eye but it's true.
