I think they deserve it. They haven't lost a game since they played Charlton on the second weekend of the season, and even then they only lost 1-0.
They play positive attacking football and have gottenins against newcastle and Bolton.
I'd much rather see them in 4th than a team like Liverpool who slow down thew pace of the game and ground out results.
Although don't worry, they'll be abck down to 5th after we demolish Fulham at the valley tomorrow night

George Best's condition worsens "dramatically"
LONDON (Reuters) - Former Manchester United player George Best's condition has "deteriorated dramatically" as he fights a life-threatening infection in a London hospital, newspapers reported on Thursday.
The 59-year-old, who has been in intensive care since October 2., suffered internal bleeding and his condition was "as serious as it can get", his agent Phil Hughes was quoted as saying in the Daily Telegraph.
Best has had an alcohol problem for much of his adult life and underwent a liver transplant in 2002 after years of heavy drinking.
His former wife, Alex Best, said she had been told that Best's condition had "deteriorated dramatically" during Wednesday, according to a BBC report.
"I am just praying that, once again, he somehow manages to pull through against all the odds," she said.
Several newspapers ran front page stories saying Best was close to death.
However, his liver surgeon, Professor Roger Williams, told the Daily Telegraph that, although seriously ill, the severity of his condition had been exaggerated.
"He is still in intensive care and will be while we are struggling with this problem," he said.
"He has not given up and nor have we."
Best's agent, doctor and a spokesman at the private Cromwell Hospital, west London, could not be reached for comment on the reports.
Belfast-born Best was regarded by many as the greatest player to come from the British Isles.
He had a dazzling but short career at Manchester United, winning the European Cup in 1968 when he was named European Footballer of the Year.
Nicknamed "the 5th Beatle", Best is widely seen as the first superstar soccer player, attracting frenzied media coverage as much for his colourful private life as his on-field talent.
His career nose-dived when he left United and he has remained dogged by alcohol problems since.
He once famously said: "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."

Well, I guess I shouldn't be talkin', my beloved Juventus just lost by 3 - 1 to Milan.
But you know what's pretty cool? There's a club, Åtvidaberg, in the Swedish second division, who reached the Swedish Cup final (where they lost to the Swedish champions Djurgården). But, because the reached the final they're in the UEFA Cup next season, and here in Sweden all the journalists are currently busy digging up old memories of the time when Åtvidaberg beat Chelsea...

Oh yes, definitely! For one thing the players aren't allowed to pick up the ball with their hands, hence the name "foot ball".

Ugh... Nasty accident in Norway. A player broke his neck during a game last night. So far no one knows if he'll be paralysed for life or if it's temporary...

Yeah they couldn't even play the game in their own stadium.
Ferguson praised the fans for sticking with the club through thick and thin. Christ, United haven't a clue what thin really means.
I watched City drop from being a crap team in the prem, relying on players like Gerry Creaney and Michael Frontzeck to being a crap team in the old division 2 losing to the likes of York City. Fortunately we turned it around and are doing pretty darn well, but I will never forget what it felt like being mid-table in div 2 at Christmas.
United's Reign of terror is over. Halleluljah.

Nov 3 2005, 05:44 PM
amen to that.
Seeing your club sink that low and sticking with them is truly admirable. The only experience I have of that is back when we were in the old division 1 for all those years. However that was when I was just a little kid, more interested in playing on my bike than going down to the valley on a saturday.

I might cheer for various non-Swedish teams 'cos they've got a cute player or two*, but the only club that's truly mine is Helsingborgs IF.
They might be disappointing sometimes (this year the had the chance to reach the Royal League, but blew it in the last few games), but I can't
not support them, as they're in my heart...

*I once cheered for Southampton 'cos they had cutie boy Anders Svensson in the team...

Weren't far off were you.
As for me, I'm here for a grumble so you may wanna switch off now
4-1....4....1 to Blackburn.
Disgrace is all I can say, I've not seen the highlights yet, though I will force myself to watch MOTD later, but this is a stinging defeat.
Our away form was the only thing we had to take pride in (4 points from 5 home games this season

) and now it's shattered.
If it starts to resemble our home form then that is relegation candidacy, Europe is already looking out of reach, if I were Curbs I'd cut my losses and go for a cup run.

Not so sure they "stopped" Chelsea, really. Now they know they're not invincible, so the next game they'll prolly fight harder in order to win.
