Barca looked quality, and with attacking flair last night, could go all the way.
What was that, with those numpties booing Henrik Larsson. It may have been a minority, but as far as I am concerned, that was absolutely appalling behaviour. Despite the Hoops being my second team, I was almost glad he scored.
wunarmdscissor

The booing was in respose to the daft claims by a lot of celtic fans that theyd cheer if henrik scored, i think tehy over did it ,.
It was an attempt to show them that celtic are more important than larrsson.
Im gutted thought the best team won defo.
Looked for about 20 mins in the 2nd half that we might just sneak a win, then up pops the king lol.
He did us well and truly .
It looks like mcnamara is out and hes been our best player over the last 2 years. im gutted.

Oh no they're not!
Anyway, sad news today about the death of Brian Clough.
One of the most colourful characters, and greatest managers this country has ever produced.
To take two relatively small clubs such as Derby and Nottingham Forest, and come up with 2 European Cups, 3 League Championships and 4 League Cups was nothing short of fairytale stuff.
Let it also not be forgot that he was on course to be one of the greatest centre forwards of the post war years until injury cruelly cut short his career at a very young age.
Cloughie will be missed by the entire footballing world. A true legend.
RIP

lol David Beckham always will be the worst player in the world in my eyes, actually i don't even think he should be a called a"football" player, i think he is a model that's for sure. All he does is just look for the flashs and doesn't know how to dribble and pass through the players, all he does just shoot from outside the plenty area and hopes that it goes in. He got so so so lucky with that shot he did on the match with Wales, he was suprised himself.
Anyways The Fifa World Best player Who is the best 2004 football player? Of course- only, complete, virtuoso- Ronaldinho! In the days when virtuosos are dying out, when players have lost the skills and behavior of greatness, there is only one that’s left. Greatness is hidden in what happens on and off the pitch. Ronaldinho has it all. On the pitch he has the moves, game overview, and selflessness of a true player. Off the pitch he is the most humble person, possessing the quiet leadership that radiates in the locker room. Fans love him and he loves them back by simply loving to play the ball. Pele and Zidane can polish his shoes, Henry and Rooney should pay to learn from him. Us others should be happy to be able to watch him play on TV, I know I am.

Blimey, old boy. Are you in love?
He's a great player alright, but to say "Pele can polish his shoes" is way off the mark.
It takes an entire football career before a player can be judged in the all time great tables, but if he is ever going to be mentioned in the same breath as Pele or Maradona, then he has to do all what he's done, and a lot more besides, over the next ten years.
As for Rooney, well, six years ago everyone was saying that Michael Owen would be the next real legend, but it's never quite turned out that way, so wh's to say it won't be the same. For what it's worth I think Rooney is better, but the point is, some players peak very early in their career and some late on. The true greats peaked for all fifteen years or so of their career.

Man Rooney doesn't know a thing but to kick the ball. He has no skill what so ever in soccer. To me Michael Owen is way better than Rooney. Rooney just get's lucky with his shots that's all. Now if you wanna talk about Strikers then here is one Striker that Everyone fears and that's Adriano!!

No you don't know a thing about Soccer, Rooney is just like Michael Owen when he started out, soon you will see how pathetic he is. Actually he is already pathetic to me as a striker. Adriano, Totti, Del Pierro, Verri, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Saviola, Crespo, Henry. Man i can do go on and on with strikers that are 20 times better than a kid like Rooney, Seriously he isn't sh** right now, if you actually watched what he does during the game and how he gets the ball you will understand what i am talking about, all he does is just kick the freakin ball and get's lucky with it.

I think your out of you depth here , Firstly you say Beckham is Crap , then Rooney and Owen. I seem to Detect a slight anti English Vibe there
Not to mention you call it Soccer
Owen Is Crap these days , but he's going through a phase
Beckham Is a Nonce of the park, but he still has a wicked free kick and cross, not Amazing as the English would have you believe, but top 50 in the world at least.
Rooney is better than owen By far , much stonger, faster and more powerful shot. remember his age

i have NOTHING against English ppl or the country at all. Owen is crap as everyone knows. Beckham is not even a soccer"football" player, everyone knows that he is nothing but a model. I don't care if he made the list for Top 50 players in the world, that List is nothing since it doesn't have Totti on it. Rooney is better thab Owen and that's it!!! Nothing else! he is nothing at all compared to the Strikers i have listed and haven't. If you want to Keep thinking is he "all that" then Let's see what he will do On Sunday When Manchester Utd Vs. 1st touch is how you seperate the good from the great.
Rooneys first touch is awesome, he can control the ball with utter ease , he is a superb player.

It is Soccer what everyone calls it around the World, except for Europeans that call it "Football". Totti IS and will always be golden boy of italy, just because he spat at some danish guy doesn't mean he lacks skills and morals of soccer, look at what VAN NISTELROOY did to Ashley Cole during their game then judge Totti for what he did, in fact no one should Jugde him at all.

Yeah what would us europeans know, we only invented the game lol
I think you'll find if you ask them there opinion on spitting that theyll say its the most disgusting act a footballer regularly commits.
Therefore he is lacking the morals of a professional footballer , his true character came out during that game.
He abandoned his country when it needed him most and because of this they completley failed in the european championship as they did in the world cup.
I do think he is a really good player just not a great player.
Van nistelrooy's tackle was poor but a bad tackle is a bad tackle , its part of the game, spitting is a derogartory , disgusting calculated insult designed to make someone feel beneath you.

Well, well, well. You opened your mouth too soon there didn't you?
I hope you are proud of your boy Totti tonight, after one of the most disgraceful, cowardly acts of thuggery I have ever seen commited on a football pitch. Stamping on someone is bad enough, but to do what he did, which was a clear and deliberate jump upon a man's midriff with full weight on his studs, was sickening to the core.
The referee obviously was looking the other way, but given that RVN was given three matches for his indiscretion, Totti should be given three months. Not even scumbags like Roy Keane would do something as dirty and underhand as that.
Morals and Totti don't go. What he did tonight shamed the game of football.
If that's what you call a 'golden boy' you can keep him. There is no place for people like him in our game.
