jasibaby
leeds will do it you watch .yon want to think of us 1 signing 2 good players leaveing but hopeful of some signings soon
wrighty
You are like United signing another keeper but I have to say if we want to start to challenge Chelsea even though Arsenal and United both have great squads there is room for improvement.

Looks like Arsenal are not getting Jenas he is going to the magpies.
jasibaby

Not too interseted in the Scottish league but that was a good goal.
What about Defoes 2 goals. Also come on you blues wupping the Arsenal lads but wait till United start.

I'll second that. The title race is of no interest to me anymore, at best in the last 5 years it's been a 3 horse race now it's a foregone conclusion laugh.gif
I'll be watching our lot battling it out for the UEFA cup spots, that's where the real action is, goes right down to the wire every year

wrighty
I disagree there nick I think this season will be an interesting season with this years tranfers all the lower teams have brought in some great signing that could change there season competely. Man City, Everton, Liverpool, Villa and Newcastle will all be trying this season right behind the top three United, Arsenal and the Champs Chelsea. This will be a slip up and you drop a place season because behind them all will be Bolton, Birmingham, Blackburn, Midlesborough, Charlton and Fulham all needing to get up and the three that came up will be determined to stay I think it will be a great season.

No way, you look at the teams that finished between 4th and about 14th last season, there was very little between them, so the matches are tight and they win less.
For example, if you played Villa and Newcastle against each other 10 times, there would be a great variation in results. Yet the gap from the big 3 is so big that if you pitched any of them against the lower teams 10 times they would be unlucky to win less than 9.
It is a foregone conclusion that Arsenal, Chelsea and united will beat everyone except each other (and possibly Liverpool) 90% of the time. Hence you can back teams like Fulham at about 9/1 to beat them.
Between 3rd and 4th last season was a 16 point gap, the biggest at any plac in the table, and I expect this too only get bigger this season
wrighty
Yes but you have to consider the transfers Arsenal have made 1 signing and lost a few including Vieira as Liverpool Spurs have made loads of signings it will be a good season.
jasibaby
arsenal will be ok i have faith with the kids plus hleb they will challenge for the title plus we were unlucky yesterday totaly bossed the game just got done by 2 long balls that wont have happend if sol would have been playing as there is no way drogba would have pushed sol off the ball
wrighty
That is a bad point Jason if Arsenal bossed the game they should have scored more than 1 yes chelsea had two long balls played for the goals but why don't Arsenal do that.
jasibaby
becouse it would not work against a team that packs the defence beleave me wenger has found a lot about chelsea in that game they allways play the long ball they have been found out.we just needed a bit more luck more than we got in front of goal yesterday
wrighty
But you did not think put Henry on the line with gallas and play a long ball over the top or along the floor and Henry would beet him hands down for pace and you do not cross the ball and you need a new keeper and you need a captain that conrtols the back Henry can not do that I can go on and on.
wrighty
sorry
wrighty
Running slow so pressed it 3 times by accident sorry
jasibaby
trust me i think we will win the title we battered them yesterday but got nothing for it they have been found out
wrighty
No chance if the Arsenal do better than Chelsea and United will do better than Arsenal will will win
jasibaby
arsenal for the title thats where my money is going yes you have a chance as well so have chelsea but we have found them out
wrighty
How do you think all the Prem teams will do in the Champo league
wunarmdscissor
chelsea with man u and arsenal lagging WAY behind , as much as id far rather liverpool or man u won it.

i hate what chelsea are doing.
wrighty
So do I. Chelsea have basically bought the title and it is making the Premiership less interesting. I would love United to lift it again it will make all the best players want to come back to the reds and not the blues.
wunarmdscissor
i have a problem though with man u fans , not yourself but the part - time glory hunter.

ive been to old trafford (have a family in manchester or used to) and it was pathetic , loads a middle class tossers who sit on their hands.

whereas the pool fans are very similar to the bhoys.
wrighty
I agree it is disgraceful about 80% of my friends support man u and about 79% can't name 4 players I can name the whole squad including tranfers in and out, what they have won in the last 5 years, who there rivals are I know all those facts and I am sure you do with Celtic.
wrighty
So the brazilian midfielder has gone did any one think he was that good at United.
jasibaby
i think man utd destroyed klerberson not the same player for you guys as he was in the world cup.look at forlan another example should have kept him but you let him go watch him tonight against everton different player to the forlan at united
wrighty
No it is just that Kleberson didn't start many yes I admit Forlan was not very good at United but the Spanish league is easier and he started first choice which meant he could score goals.

The Spanish league is by no means easier. Not only have you got the likes of Barca, Real and Valencia roaming around with some of the world's best but then you have teams like Athletico, Villareal and Deportivo who are easily a match for any midtable premiership side.
I once read an interview with Deco where he said he would never come to England because in Spain every team has at least one superstar, even teams like Parma and Osasuna, so there is potential for anyone to beat anyone, yet in the Premiership, you look at team like Portsmouth and Villa, there is no star there, thus they will never amount to anything.
In la liga the 3rd and 4th spots go to different teams every year because it is such an open league, much like the championship. They play differenty yes, but it is by no means easier
jasibaby
looks like a bad performance for man utd tonight if there goal had not been ruled out it could have been different. everton also look like they are going out got to feel for the after drawing villareal
