I want to find out how to safely hypnotize my friends at a birthday part of mine tonight! Just for fun--not to make them do anything but just to hypnotize them to tell us something about like who she has a crush on (we are also gonna do it to me) Please help

A person under hypnosis will never tell something or do anything they don't want to. When you are under you have complete control of your actions. So, no matter how much you try to get them to dance around naked while clucking like a chicken.....if they don't want to do it, or it's something they would never do...then they simply won't do it.

Not something to be messed with unless your an expert or under expert care.

Get Pin the Tail on the Donkey instead.

I doubt that'd be the smartest thing to do. I agree with Anvil, let a professional handle it if you're going to go about doing it yes.gif.

They would not normally tell any questioner who they have a crush on, but if they are put into deep trance and are given a notebook that they are told is their diary, and they are told they are in their bedroom writing about their current crush in it, they likely will if they do not think keeping a diary is stupid.

Having someone take their clothes off works the same way. If they are in very deep trance and believe they are in their bathroom getting ready to take a bath, they will start at some point to take their clothes off and they hypnotist will have to stop them by having them change their mind about it and do something else instead. I have only seen that done once and the short look of fear and confusion on their face as their commands were changed made me angry and upset. I did not think it was funny at all, but I do understand that the hypnotist thought they would not do it because they had been taught that they would not. I think it was seeing this that caused me to be unable to be hypnotized for decades and in most situations.
I have only been hypnotized twice and in both cases it was by a female and only a very light trance.

I wouldn't mess with it, unless you were professional, like others have said.

I never in my life believed in it and my company owner set me up with a local "hypnotist" to get me to quit smoking.
I laughed at the thought and went along with it as corporate was paying for it.
There were 3 of us that went to this lady's house.
I was a skeptic in the worst way.
She had a couch and one chair in her living room.....I took the couch...the general manager took the chair and my warehouse manager layed on the floor.
I know this was legit because she only charged $50 a person.
She started talking and I tried my best to NOT believe....next thing I know we are walking back to the truck and get in. Me and the general manager in the front and my warehouse guy in the back.....extended cab.
I felt sleepy and asked the driver if he was ok to drive.
He felt sleepy also but was fine....the guy in the back just listened to us all the way back to where we left our vehicles which was approximately 40 miles.
When we left the house I had no idea what had happened but I immediately reached for my cig pack in the truck while we were in the driveway and threw them out the window as did the driver.
Whatever she did "which I still can't get a grip on" stayed with us for 6 days....neither of us smoked.....but my warehouse guy was not affected at all.
I still want to be skeptical about it but can't.

I'd agree, I wouldn't mess with that stuff. There's a movie called "Stir of Echoes" with Kevin Bacon where he gets hypnotized and very creepy ghost type stuff starts happening. Good Haloween rent!! thumbsup.gif

Are you still smoke free? I've known a couple people that have tried that but it's only worked for a couple days or weeks. I'd love to find a good one, we're determined to quit by new years.
SwampGator
No I didn't quit...I only tried that to satisfy the owner.
It did last for 6 days and had I really wanted to quit I would have been able.
Shankpin
I had a Dr. once tell our class the only true way to quite was "eat your ashes" backed "by smoking a pack one cigerette behind the other."

-I'm actually suprised it worked for you Gator, since you doubted it so. From what I remember those hypnotized easiest are those that believe in it, and those who have been hypnotized before (especially)--
SwampGator
I actually kept my then wife up all night because I couldn't explain what happened....she was smoking the whole time and I had no urge.

Thats good testimony Gator in the position that hypnosis can work. Always thought it was a waste of time. Thanks for sharing that.

What she said! yes.gif

At $50 bucks that's alot cheaper than some of the alternatives, healthier too!
Shankpin
Yea Gator, it's actually interesting. I never thought I would be able to do it either. so, I guess you never know.
