What concerns me most about these fringe discoveries, proof of aliens, is that they often come accompanied with an agenda - that is, you have to buy the DVD or come to the conference, etc..

Are these people spreading valid information - or selling snake oil?

The only people that could possibly find this convincing are the ones who desperately want to believe and will forego their logical thought processes to cling to it.

Looks like it would be on the open market advertising if it is all that great. I don't trust this one.

A couple of different 'trailers' that I have seen on this suggests that it isn't going to be any more "revealing" than some of the Sci-Fi channel programs where it has "new evidence" - when actually it was just re-hash and didn't show anything 'new' that wasn't already known and or in a couple of cases previously debunked and written off.

But hey, I could be wrong! (??)

If you wnted to watch ufos you could just watch Travel channels friday and history channel fridays if im correct they tell you everything from ufos to humanoids and yea save your money!!

According to the posts he proved that rods are bugs and my so called theory
of electron streams are the wings relecting light.



A plane goes and dark rod may be quite large. Its a model with plasma thrustors
if its not a full scale Tesla transporter with quad flat coil electron streams.

Some posts did not care about his rod theory in which he framed it down as evidence,
guess some were into his work. Some seemed quite strong in anying not a ufo.

read about Woody Durnberger in "Mothman chronicles",they seem to be trying to take the focus off of mothman by making an honest man look crazy. I know alot of people from Point Pleasant WV.(i lived there for 4 years)and most who knew mr.dernberger said he wasnt prone to lie.

People are saying that the rod is bugs? I do want to point out something though. It was bought to my attention that in Japanese anime (sp?) cartoons, most of them contain drawings of insects flying around in the backgound and one is a long flying insect with two sets of wings. Wonder if they know something about the skies we don't?

I love to see it..But i have to wonder if they have something why are they going to make you pay to see it......

"Rods" are proven to be insects period. Nothing at all paranormal.

You are right of course, rods are a videographic artifact based on the frame capture rate of the videocam versus the wingbeat frequency of the insects. The blurred body of the insect as it moves forward forms the "rod," and the oscillation of the wings up and down form the bulges.

Anyone with a video camera can duplicate the effect, if you shoot enough footage of flying insects from the right distance.

It's the houdini bug again that was disccussed a while back when we was trying to guess what the Rod was before it was revealed to be a insect.

I can't say that trying to make a buck off this automaticly dissmiss's it as a hoax or snake oil. But it does not help the case. I'll tell you one thing if I found a crashed alien ship in the mountains, with a dead alien in it. I would absalutly try to make a buck off it, while revealing it to the world. Or if a hunter bumped into bigfoot and shot it, he would forsure capitalize on it.

However it does suck you have to pay to see it. It's probably all the same stuff we have all, already seen just with a different narrator Ah after it's out and it proves anything, ya right. It will make headline news and change the world as we know it Wait a bit it will be on Utube soon enough me thinks
