Some of the members of this forum may remember Sylvanic from about a year ago. I was initially intrigued by the site and the story of the expedition to Sylvanic and the video there, but there were a number of pointed questions about the site posted here that really didn't have a good answer, and although there was talk on the Sylvanic website of another expedition being planned, it never seemed to pan out and it just sort of fell off the radar screen.

There was an expedition in 2005 and there was a very short video posted on the site and now the site reports that there was another expedition in June 2006. Unfortunately the current site doesn't say too much about what is going on, but I did find out that there is a Sylvanic page now at Myspace.com (http://www.myspace.com/sylvanic) where there is a new video.

I've just uploaded a photo that was posted on the old Sylvanic website, and another version where I played with the color balance and contrast to bring out more detail to the image gallery but it is pending admin approval. All credits for the photo belong to Sylvanic.com (don't want to step on any rights here).

I'm really interested in finding out more about what this is all about. What do you think?

The sight and information looks really interesting. Tried searching for more articles about it and the ones I found come from the original site. If you do find anything please update.

It is bigfoot. Sylvanic is just the name of the region where the explorer...explored.

I knew this would rise from the flames again at some time... about as geniune as Bill and Bobs Sea serpent claims. Anyway I will let you decide:

Regarding the two images from the old Sylvanic website that I uploaded to the gallery - it looks like no new images have been added to the Crytpo or Bigfoot galleries for several months . Have they been frozen or something?

You mean the site webmasters? It's possible that they haven't been on an expedition for a long while, although it's just as possible it was all a hoax and they've lost interest in it.
