Is the coffee a metaphor for the inherent lonliness and emptiness of the common man? that or PCP.

Nope... it's simply about one of my favorite topics- Coffee.

I had eight cups of coffee one day, and what I wrote about is kinda the result.

Enjoy it whilst you can. I'm sure sooner or later some boffin in a laboratory somewhere will link it mto some form of cancer and they'll start a smear campaign and we'll end up with underground coffee bars where all you caffeine junkies have to go for a fix . So for now drink it loud and proud (but not too close to bedtime)

Well, tests on poor little white mice have shown that drinking the equilvant of 80,000 cups of coffee a day did lead to cancer in them.

I think my pancreas would give out well before I reached that point.

Only 8??..not a true addict then are we.

I was just starting out at that point in time.
