Does anyone think she killed herself? That's what everyone thinks. I think that she was murdered since she had an affair with one of the Presidents. (Sorry I can't think of him at the moment). I was just wondering what everyone else thought.

The president you mentioned was John F Kennedy, and she also was rumored to have had an affair with his brother Bobby Kennedy (who was also assassinated when he was in the running for the presidency).

There were some things that I had seen brought forth in several different tv shows about a conspiracy surrounding her death. Is it possible that she was terminated? Yes, it is. Is it likely? Perhaps. However, going with the line of thought that she was murdered, in lieu of dying from an overdose at her own hands, one would have to mention that there had to be more than a few people "involved" with the conspiracy. One would think that at least one of those people would have admitted to it to clear their conscience in their old age or impending deaths. I have not checked into it, but I don't recall anyone who would have been "involved" coming forth with an admission of any involvement. If anyone has a source of such, please post, as the Marilyn Monroe case was not something I studied on, aside from the passing references on various tv shows.

Do *I* believe that she was murdered? I think it is quite plausible, and I tend to think that there is something to the argument, but all we really have is speculation.

Her psychiatrist ( i think ) announced on his death bed that he was the person she called right before her death - he said she told him about how JFK had visited her and had been shouting at her and threatening her and he said that she sounded terrified. then she died after the phone conversation, with the phone still at her side...

Have they checked phone records to see if that's true or not?

I have often heard that the last person she talked with was the actor Peter Lawford, who was related to the Kennedys by marriage. He and Marilyn were good friends.
Lawford died some years ago but I recall hearing him say that Marilyn was rather fragile and she was close to him as a friend.
Lawford was interviwed by the police but it was determined he knew nothing about her suicide attempt.
If not the last person she called, he was among the last. She called him the evening of her death, as I recall.

She had alot of friends and did see JFK, however the original report stated the last person she spoke to was Robert Kennedy. There is obviously a cover up so we may never know..But it was an overdose, thats all we know for sure...
