It is believed that King tutankhamen also known as king tut or the boy king died of a blow to the back of the head possibly by murderer, aye, homerhem, and his wife are the main suspects.

Heard a couple of things, some say he died on pneumonia going by some scars on his mummified body, some say he was kind of crippled, with a problematic leg and died of prolonged illness. Anyways, I think he died of natural causes. Tut is only popular because of the riches they found in his grave and that stupid curse hoax, otherwise he isn't believed to be a prominent figure of his time at all hmm.gif

An inexperianced boy king with loads of treasure who wouldn't want him dead? It stands to reason though that if anyone did murder him it would be a successor.

They did tests recently, discovered he had a broken leg and died as a result of the infection.

Keep up at the back.

People died from mundane things back then. If they were going to do him in on purpose they would have used poison.

yeah, it's believed he broke his leg and gangrene killed him... how the leg was broken is unknown... best guess is a chariot accident, we will never know conclusively though...

He was oneof the least famous pharaohs the only reason many people know of him today is thatwhen his tomb was found it was the only one to be completely unlooted and in perfect condition.
