(Okay...first off this is Fantasy. There are some Fantasy animal stories where they appear to be not able to talk, for example the books Jack London wrote about dogs. Thank you, and, enjoy.)
Prolouge:
A thylacine stalked up to a pool of water, sniffing the air, long face alluminated by the little shafts of light that flitered in through the cave. He stepped up closer to the pool whil more shadowy shapes gathered around him beside the pool. The male thylacine lifted his muzzle to the cavern ceiling to let all of the others gathered around him to hear. "My fellow thylacines, we have been driven to near death of all of our kind. When one of those that were captured in captivity two walkers belived us to be dead. Never again to show ourselves to their kind, but in truth a few of us remained. While we have grown stronger with many seasons passing, there is still threat some two walkers still belive we exist!" Loud yelps rose up from the gathered thylacines, never had there been many of them. Dingos were then, and now there closest rivals.
"Will we all be killed again if our existance is proven? The Dingos still hold threat!" A small juvinile thylacine shouldered through the crowd to take her place next to the male.
He whipped around to face her, eyes burning with anger that was ignited from her question. "We will not be killed again! Do not forget that, we will rise up once more to be as strong as before," his voice lingered away as his eyes narrowed, gaze sweeping 'cross the gathered thylacines.
He touched his muzzle to the pool of water, and raised his muzzle to the cave ceiling as the other joined in as one voice. "Ansectores glittering in the stars above. Those who still watch over us. Show us what you will, show us what you may. Show us the past, present, future, show us...today!" All the voiced died down.
A shaft of light caught a gem on the cave wall and light up the cavern, shards of light glanced off the cave walls, and finally landed on the pool of water. For a moment, there was nothing but the stillness of the water in the pool, and dripping from pointed stones at the top of the cave. But then a faint image materialized onto the water. It was of many dead thylacines being loaded into the back of a two walker transport. All of their faces were twisted in horror of death falling upon them so quickly. One was just a pup, barly a week old, killed with its mother. That image shattered away to show the last thylacine two walkers belived, breathing his last moments of life, then the light of life fading away from his eyes. It rippled away, to show Dingos stalking two juvinile pups. Then the images shifted, to show a pack of thylacines traveling, somewhere they had never seen. The light form the gems faded away, as did the images, leaving the thylacines in the pitch black cave. "Our ancestores have spoken, we must travel some place far away, somewhere we have never seen. Only then will we be safe...." his voice trailed away.
