Hello fellow nerds,

My name is David and I am new to this board as of today. You'll see around from time to time ...unless I decide it blows here.

For all you identity stealers, I’m 26, and I live in St. Paul, MN- if you’re not familiar with Minnesota, that’s the State capital, and part of the Minneapolis metro area. Unlike many nerds, I’m actually married to an attractive female. This is mostly likely due to the fact that I’m a hybrid nerd. By day I work in a cubicle and browse e-bay for castle Lego sets from the 80’s- but by night I’m a musician. This adds the faintest glimmer of sex appeal, to my personality (which is otherwise a barren wasteland fill little else beyond numerous embarrassing quirks and hobbies) and has allowed me to attract a suitable mate. Far outclassing me, my wife is hot, a musician, a visual artist, and makes more money than I do.

We play together in a band called Maudlin, which, is likely the best band you’ll ever hear, should you decide to listen. www.maudlinmusic.com Maudlin is currently enjoying radio play on a host of college stations nationally, and working on a new recording.

When not playing with toys, or making music, I enjoy dabbling in the MYSTERIES OF THE UNIVERSE. Current favorite is the subject of the Nephilim. I also like cryptozoology stuff, and ancient history crap.

For all of you political warriors who care (though, I should hope, on a site like this, we all realize that the Illuminati are running everything) I’m neither republican, nor democrat. I hate politicians, and frequently, purposely don’t vote. (which isn’t to say I don’t try and participate or care about how things are run- I just don’t feel like helping perpetuate the ongoing race between tweedle dee and tweedle dum) I am, however, a Christian- but, I don’t usually mesh well with the ‘average’ Christian these days. I don’t hate gay people, I’d prefer to keep the church separate from the state, and I think the current administration looks like a dry run for the coming of the anti-Christ.

I have seen a UFO, and had a few other bizarre experiences with the ‘unknown’ as well. I’m currently reading Robert Jordan, as well as George RR Martin, and, I went to the Comicon in San Diego once. Those things also qualify me as a nerd. I also have two cats, and I think, like 8 myspace pages…

So, that’s me, tell me about yourselves, and feel free to respond to an of the potentially inflammatory things I mentioned. But, don’t worry, despite my questions about how much vulgarity is allowed here, I’m actually pretty nice.
