Hey everyone,
In this thread, you could post your family heritage as far back as you can go. This allows us to see the diversity on this forum, as well as the individual histories of our members.
I'll go first.
Lets see here:
My dads side originated in the Tennessee area, near Norris. In fact, they owned property in the valley that is now Norris Dam. They were cherokee indians. The earliest 'actual' member I know was my great great great great granfather who fought in the Revolutionary war. We have his release papers signed by George Washington.
My mother's side originated in the Carpathian mountain areas and in Germany. As far as we know, her father's family came to the US sometime in the 1700's. Her mothers family fled Germany during the Nazi occupation and came to the US.
Here is my complete nationalities:
German, Cherokee Indian, Ruth-Carpathain, Czech, Irish, and a VERY small amount of Polish.
I ask others to do the same just please do not post any real names or addresses or anything like that.

On one side we date back to Scottish Royalty and on the other we date back to advises for British Royalty. No wonder I've always felt conflicted.

My Father's side is Scottish-Welsh, with some Chippawa, and French, and my Mother's side is all Scandanavian. My kids also have Mexican, and German. They are related to Emilo Zappata, the Revolutionary...and you can tell.

My family on my mothers side are originally from France. They fled France during the revolution. They were aristocrats fleeing from threat of beheading. They fled into Holland, where my grandfather moved to Australia after WW2.
My grandmother is from Longreach, Australia and her family have been from that area for years. Originally there were from the Isle of Skye in Scotland and came to Australia on one of the first convict ships. (yes they were convicts)
My fathers family are from Ireland and moved to Australia as some of the first settlers.

We've got a bit of Scottish royalty way back when too

Don't really put much into it though...coulda been anything from the King of Scotland (four kings to be exact) to the King of a small town and the surrounding bog

I honestly wish I could say our family history had something exciting in it...like...we're secretly related to William Wallace or some such, but I'm saving that trumph card for the day one of my enemies announces that they find out they're the illigitate love child of some B-grade celebrity.
But we're all Scottish...not a whole lot else in there. I don't care if our tartan is green and yellow, we're still cool!

100% Scottish - My great uncle did the family tree and made it into a book. I'll have to dig it out to see how far back it goes.

My mom's side is Scottish......Carmichael to be exact. They immigrated to Newfoundland around the 1870's I believe. Stayed mostly in the St. John's reason ever since.
As for my dad's side, we can guess that his family's origin is somewhere in the UK......but, as far back as he knows of, they were all fishermen in Labrador, so, we don't know for sure.

Our tartan is green and yellow. It's a crappy tartan with not many stripes on it, but that's from the cattle theivin side not the Royal side. The Royal side is a nice red Stuart Tartan.

Telepathy is just one of my many, many superpowers. You see, superhero society realised that their role was diminishing; people seemed less interested in them these days, and the comic book culture had gone from being a hobby accepted worldwide, to being more of a closest habit among teenagers that they prefered not to make known.
Out of work, the super hero community realised that they were antiquated. Batman managed to hang on and keep making movies, and you occassionally see him drinking with Spiderman...Superman tried to join the two in a recent attempt to catapult himself back to superstardom, but unfortunately his movie sucked, and he just doesn't look as good in spandex anymore.
Most super heroes filtered back into every day life...The Flash got a job as a pizza delivery guy. Aquaman feeds sharks at Deep Sea World. Wonderwoman was hit pretty hard by her sudden loss of fame, and how works the red light district in Amsterdam. However (as was first discovered by Wonderwoman when she broke one client's pelvis), their super powers quickly got in the way of their real life jobs...now more than simply a clover, they needed to maintain their normality indefinately.
And so they decided that a custodian was needed...someone worthy of trust, someone to whom they could entrust their powers, and be certain that they would not be abused.
They wanted Ghandi, but I won the coin toss.

Filipino, Indonesian, French.
Dad's Filipino and mum's the only offspring of my French grandfather and Indonesian grandmother. My grandfather was retired and went to Indonesia (Java to be exact) for a change of scenery and met my grandmother there. He was 30 years her senior when they got married. Cradle snatcher

They then migrated here, to Singapore, and got a baby, my mum. Dad migrated to Singapore too when he was in his 20s. Met mum, got married and now here I am.

I have no idea. All I know is that my great great grandfather was a horse thief. He died while trying to rob someone's horse(lol) when the owner of the horse shot him. His son later rode a horse from somewhere(Forgot where) down to Louisiana. He then married a woman who only spoke french. He didn't even know french, but somehow they managed and had kids, and etc... Here I am.
My last name is French and all I know is I'm "Cajun". My last name is "LaFleur" and in English "The Flower".

New factoid here:
Apparently, my family owned alot of the land that now makes up the Norris Dam in Tennessee. They were forced out of the area by the government. Apparently, one of the homestead's foundations still exists beneath the water. Awesome.

Well, you see, my grandmother is a native-mesoamerican. The tribes there were divided into various groups. Some of the most famouse being the Aztecs and Mayans. Now, the Aztecs were conquered by the spanish, but that does not mean that there is NO Azteca's left. By my grandmother being Azteca, I have some in me.
