my dad was telling me about this guy (can't remember name) who wrote a book.
in this book he mentioned that everyone had a car inside them, not like a vehicle car, but he called it a car (not sure of spelling either). he said that when you sleep at night your 'car' leaves you and wanders around the place with everyone elses 'car', and this is supposedly your dream i.e. your 'car' is you in your dream and whatever your 'car' does and wherever your 'car' goes you do the same thing and go to the same place in your dream. all the people that you see in your dream are supposedly other peoples 'car' that your 'car' can interact with, talk to etc.

i know this all sounds farfetched, and i don't believe it, but it kinda makes sense in a way. it is also an interesting theory to ponder over, and if it were real, would be a wonderful thing to happen if you see what i mean, maybe i'm just stoned

that is pretty cool isn't it? that's basically describing astral projection. personally, i don't know if it's real or not because i haven't knowingly experienced it (at least not since i was a young 'un). but supposedly when you dream you still leave your body and can interact with others and go places, however your subconcious mind takes over the whole thing.

But your subconscious doesn't take over it all if it is lucid. Some people can train themselves in taking conscious control while dreaming, to experience what they usually can't experience in everyday life.
The waking life is the same as the dream world. Both are created by thought. Science(which specific branch i forgot, however alot of holographic theorists agree with this) has discovered that the subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what it sees and what it imagines. Cool huh????
