hey guys
i believe in ghosts and all that stuff so anyway..,.
well me and my family moved into a flat about 2 years ago. A man had been murdered in the loungeroom by his son about a year before we moved in. i currently sleep 1 metre away from where the man actually was killed.. so anyway moving on
just a few things um
at random times of the night the tv makes a large ammount of noises even though it is switched of at the power switch as well as the electricty outlet. the floorboards regurlarly creek when every1 is in bed.. electric switches in the kitchen are heard being turned on and off. and only the other day i saw a shadowy figure walk past my brothers bedroom door then i saw the door open slightly. i was so spooked i called him from liek 2 metres away lol but still freaky stuff atleast i think it is..
well thanks for ur time every1

Well, I can explain the floor boards, but other then that, I would say your house is haunted. Expecially those switches, thats freaky. Also, since a guy was killed in your house... that furthers my belif that your house is haunted! Lucky you =)
For the floorboards, since its probably made of wood, wood is known to shrink in the cold, then expand when it gets warmed up again. Say it shrunk since its cold out, but the heater kicks on or something, it will expand again, and when it expands, it rubs and compresses other pieces of wood, which then makes that creaky noise!
Or it could be a ghost =)

Woo, ever experiment with EVP? Leave your TV on static one night, and make the room totally dark, see if you can get anything! Tape it if you do, so you can go back and double check things, and share it with us!

From Wikipedia
Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) is the practice of using radios, tape recorders or other electronic audio devices in an attempt to pick up communications from ghosts or spirits.
If you have ever seen the movie White Noise, you would understand. Its trying to pick up ghosts, and spirits, by using the radio, or TV, where they come though the static, and talk or what not.

Just because someone was killed in your flat does not automatically make it haunted. I lived for years in a house where my uncle committed suicide and never had one paranormal experience.
The tv could just be faulty electrics.
edited for grammar.

indeed it may not be haunted, i lived in a 100 something year old house that used to be a hospital in a small mining town on vancoucver island-CUMBERLAND, it was sayed to be hauted but i never saw any untill recently this year at another house where a man died but now i am starting to think my mind is to blame becasue it comes and goes whenever.
oh and yes hundreds of people died in that house and my brother waas the only one to claim to see a ghost, and down the street there is a museum dedicated to old mining life and my brother claimed to see a man dressed like he was in the earlie 1900 or late 1800 and that freaked me out becasue my friend told me he saw the same man.

The only one I would call paranormal would be hearing the light switches go up and down. Any natural explaination for that type of phenomena would have to be far fetched to be true. Other than that, I'm not so sure. What type of noise does the TV make? Does it switch on then make the noise?
