Just wondered about everyone's opinion on this. If you have psychic ability or intuition or whatever you wish to call it and you are on prescription medications for such things as insomnia, depression, or even psychosis do you think the medication could interfere with your ability somehow?

In most of the cases that I have witnessed and experienced - yes 'they' will.

Now some have claimed that it "enhanced" them - but when it came to validation and confirmation - it was the drugs playing 'tricks' in their minds - for there was nothing that was claimed that would be easily validated and was not.

I don't see how prescription meds could enhance anything personally. I would see them more as a numbing effect.

You know how people claim that on certain prescription meds they are 'zombies' those are the type I was referring to. If they can numb your everyday life, then why not any abilities you might have?

Thanks for the reply. thumbsup.gif

I think that it probably would. Just some caffeine at night before bedtime creates an affect after all.

That's true. Do you think it would numb them so much they were ineffective until the medicine was stopped?

Yes. I think getting medication vacations are good, except for schitzophrenics for a variety of reasons, but that is just my opinion.
I do know I do not like at all the high correlation of long term use of medications like Prozac and the onset of MS that seems to commonly come after a decade or so. Depression is terrible but MS is worse. I do not trust what they are doing to so many people, but that is just me.

I always try to get people to try diet and lifestyle change over medication, especially dancing. Dancing is good for the soul. thumbsup.gif

Yes, I agree with you there.

Just makes me curious with the psychotropic drugs if they could actually impair intuition or psychic ability (if you belive in psychic ability).
