Do NOT drink liquor right after consuming vinegar. Right now.. I have a HORRIBLE stomach ache, and I'm a bit woozy as well....

Has anyone else had this combination? O_o I know.. it seems odd, haha.

Any other ideas of what to avoid while drinking liquor? I definitley don't want this stomach ache again. @_@

You think it's the vinegar? XD...

Now exactly how much liquor did you have? laugh.gif (Vinegar isn't the best combo....)
ShaunZero
Ehhh, not TOO much. wink2.gif

Although, I do get tipsy pretty easy. So does my mom, but we're both small in size.

Few, it finally went away. I'm thinking it may be a severe case of heart burn though. O_o

But I'm sure vinegar and liquor don't mix well either....

Arriving at a party where you have not seen some of the poeple there for almost a year at like 1am (cuz of work), and then trying to catch up to everybody who is already drunk out of their minds when you get there.

Aka: consuming near a quart of vodka in a few hours when you only weigh roughly 65kg... Unless throwing up on carpets is your idea of a fun time of course... in that case, be my guest wink2.gif

So this vinegar+liquor thing... is that a dare? tongue.gif
ShaunZero
It's a dare..!! Do it, do it, do it!!! And video tape it LOL.

weeell.... My experience isn't exactly the same scenario, I was at a party with my partner and a mate of ours, with people we weren't too familiar with. After a huge night of drinking we woke up and the guys mum, whose place we were at put on a huge bbq brekky. After stuffing our liquor lined stomachs with greasy sausages and eggs, we thought we would invent our own drink.
Ingredients... Raw egg, tomato sauce, olive oil, vodka, beer, BBQ sauce and cordial.
Now none really wanted to try it out but my mate Peanut was still pretty drunk and being the big man he is, skolled it down. I was standing there watching him gulp it down and feeling pretty nausious just watchin him. He finicshed it and promptly threw up. We even named the drink "the meteor" For the egg that sat in the bottom of the glass

I occasionally drink Halvheister, which is a potent combination of Vodka and Mild Vinegar. It does cause stomach aches the first few times, but you'll find it extremely pleasant once your palate has adjusted.

Interestingly, vinegar actually leaves an alkaline residue in the stomach, so your stomach ache has nothing to do with acidity.

I know that alcohol is turned into acetic acid in the liver and acetic acid is in vinegar so it could have something to do with that. hmm.gif

Meh, try over 500 mL of Vodka, straight, within 10-15 minutes.

I drink apple cider vinegar 3 times daily as a control for acid reflux, it work like a charm. I am sure over the years I have chased it with a beer or two with no ill effects. thumbsup.gif

Does that really work Irish?
I've been taking Zantac daily for a few months and would rather use something natural.

I was on previcid and Zantacs for several years, the apple cider vinegar saves me a lot of money and has some other benefits as well, it lowered my blood pressure. I recommend natural cured apple cider vinegar with what is known as the mother.
PM me for the brands as I don’t want to spam the site.

Why did you do that? Mixing liquiods isn't one of the smartest ideas. Hope your stomach calms down. Have you tried meds or something else?

This I do know ,.. the vinegar could had been ransid if it was red or white could also play a part in this concauction. did you eat much that day?
also vinegar is drunk when someone wants to de-tox , usualy for a pee pee test to the authourities,{thats what i heard} anyhow it would explain how when consuming the alcohol
afterwards , the effects would be a chemical opposite . add a little stomach acid with it and sound like it could be a stomach ache. I was going to ask if it was rubbing alcohol . hehe. lol but I wont say anything else ,..or ask ..................pssss was it ? w00t.gif
