Hey there,

I'm interested in more info on the Yowie - The Australian Bigfoot.

I've visited the AYR site, which is probaly the most comprehensive site for this particular biped. I've also looked at sited and books from Rex Gilroy, Paul Cropper etc etc..

There doesn't seem to be enough up to date material.

I'm particuarly interested in a reported sighting in September 2006 by 2 horse riders in the Megalong Valley in the Blue Mountains of NSW.

Thanks..
Tia
Hi Yengo,

Both of those sites are your best for yowie research. I live further down the mountains and find activity comes and goes, maybe they follow food and water.

With summer (ticks and snakes) about I tend to keep out of the bush until it cools down again.

No, 5 minutes with the youngests screaming and they'd be running a mile.

Interesting fact though, they're more likely to come in close to woman and children, maybe we're not as threatening or maybe it's something else......
