they say in asian mythology (just looked this up today) Traditionally, the Kyubi figure has always been a female demon who also has a human disguise. In asian mythology kyubi is a mischievious/seductress figure. by looking this up she sorta fits the discription of the lady in my dream i have had since i was 4 but is it possible for something from asian mythology to live inside of a humans dreams.? Can someone help me understand this..... because this is what my dream was.......
"dream"
I was walking down a long narrow hall when i heard the shriek of a woman so i continued down the cry for help getting louder until i was in this musty smelling room the walls were torn and the floor was cracked. at the end of the room was this large cage and a woman behind it...the woman had long Roan red hair and crimson eyes (i guess even though i had this dream everyday for a whole year when i was 4 the description is fuzzy) she wore clothes that showed off her figure. She had said this to "Help me out of here and i will hurt everyone who has hurt you." now i thought this was an prdinary dream considdering the first day i had this dream was the night of my 4th b-day so i had simply nodded.Looking at the cage there was a key hole and when ever she had touch the bars to show me she was electricuted.and her shriek of pain and that calm voice i'll never forget...but those eyes said something completly different they seemed to say let me out and u'll be the last to die.I tried so hard to wake myself up..i bit myself and nothing happened the the room started shaking and i awoke to see my mom over me........... ok so this also involves a dream but i am confused can an asian mythology reincarnate itself into a childs dreams exspecially one who as never even seen a fox till she was 6.....help understand this please
Boy, lemme get you right with your OP. I didn't understand at all why did you put "Kyubi" on the first hand. Kyubi is not a creature. It was Masashi Kishimoto's creation for his manga, Naruto. Kyubi means "nine-tailed". And the creature you've been talking about is Kitsune, the fox. I'm a half Japanese and I got arrays of Japanese Monogatari collection, here's what I know:
Just like the Tanuki was supposed to led peasants astray in ancient Japan, the Kitsune is the same. Kitsune will transform into a beautiful looking female always dressed up in expensive kimonos and were sometimes seen holding a fan with the word "Kai" or fire on it. This was because the kitsune got a very strong magical skill that if they did that to led people astray, the gained more power by consuming the peasant's hope and fear. However, they seduced not only peasants, but even in the Hyaku Monogatari, they seduced monks or even royal families. However, the kitsunes are so worshipped in ancient Japanese mythology that they ended up as temples guardian. They represent cautious action with calm and deceiving looks. However, this is nothing more than a monogatari as it is never been a true story. These folktales are merely child's bedtime story, also to keep children from wandering too far from the village. Amazingly, this story also marked deep in adults so deep that they might fear that kitsune will prey at them whenever they travel into the forest.
I'd like to ask you, do you, by any chance have some Asian blood running into you?
According to me, the women on your dream is surely not kitsune, it must be something or someone from your past or someone that leaves a deep mark on you memory subconciously. I have similar experience too.
And you said that you never see a fox until you're six years old but you claimed that you've started dreaming about this when you're 4, that's very strange...how do you identify that it was a fox? Was it possible that it wasn't a fox but when you saw fox for the first time, you THINK that it was a fox that disturb your sleep all this time?
Last,
I hate to say this... Naruto is a great owkr of art, but please don't get too carried away. I hope you remember the Pokemon phenom and may learn a thing or two about it.
